Why Diets Don't Work - Your Food is Empty

Rik Rodriguez
When I say diet I am referring to the American obsession of controlling what one eats to lose or gain weight. Or taking drugs to control your weight. Most people know this doesn't work but continue to use these tactics to lose weight. They try to control what and sometimes when they eat, Certainly they might try to control how much they are eating! Current research does suggest that obesity is a complex cultural issue with many interacting causes. But I found little real information except psychobabble, social conditioning and lack of nutritional education that addresses obesity in todays American society.

Many of us have been around long enough to have seen what we were told are great steps forward in the producing manufacturing and distribution of our food.
Only to see the people of our society continue to get fatter and rely on drugs and doctors to live longer. If one were to take a look around at all the fat ,sick and drugged up people in our regular society it is very dis heartening. I even talk to people my age who go to the doctor for regular visits are on several medications that defend their doctors decision. But these people can hardly walk around the block? They are out of shape depressed and addicted to prescription drugs. Next week doctor will modify their diet and start them on some new drug with more side effects than therapeutic value. Also because they are already on drugs that they cannot make a rational decision about their health. Its totally obvious to me!

If we kind of look at our food logically, it would seem that there is little in the way of nutrition in our food. It doesn't matter that its organic its still grow on soil that is lacking of the basic building blocks. The elements! Yes the basic elements that are in every human being. If you don't know what there are look at the periodic table. You can also look at sea water its very similar to your blood.

What I am saying to you is if you put nutrition in your food you will not crave food as much. Your body will be satisfied with the food you eat. This is what I believe is the issue ,no nutrition in the food. If you grow your own food you can feed your plants trace minerals. You can feed your plants sea water diluted of course. This will bring the elements into your food. You can also take supplements such as sea weed. But think about it adding nutrition to your food? Instead of altering your diet why not enhance your diet by adding minerals! Instead of limiting your intake expand it, eat more and be healthier. When is the last time you ate good food? Food grown in mineral rich soil, that made you satisfied and feel good? Think about it !
