Whereas, Goodson's son Jonathan became the chairman of The Mark Goodson Productions, Inc., causing Combs to leave the show permanently with hatred and possible verbal hostility and even possible suicide after leaving this famous show, that Ray Combs had worked so hard for in the past to promote in person.
Ironically? In the year 1993, Goodson's son turned right around and hired the original 1976 game show host Richard Dawson, at the age of 62, regarding this famous worldwide show known as the "Family Feud". Unfortunately? Actor Dawson was just too old to produce any more energy for this show, and even comically still tried to kiss all of these beautiful women on stage, which he originally portrayed back in the beginning of this show in 1976.
Which at this time in spine-chilling history of 1978. Host of Family Feud Richard Dawson was possibly involved around the circumstances of his friend co-star Bob Crane murder sexual/pornography investigation of the hit TV show called "Hogan's Heroes", kissing all of these females on "Family Feud" at the same time in history!
.
Apparently Mark Goodson's son Jonathan tried over the years to keep this famous TV game alive based on (1) one fact? My company is the sole owner of this show and any game show host is just an employee of this show. Meaning that your contract may or may NOT be re-newed after (1) one or (2) two years, based on the tremendous impact suicide of Ray Combs in 1996, (which could possibly mean the reason for so many different game show host of "Family Feud").
Reluctantly, after the most famous 1990's "Family Feud" game show host called Ray Combs committed suicide. The producers of this show also decided that maybe this show is too much for one person to handle simply because of it's popularity.
One fact that so many viewers do not realize? Is the fact that Ray Combs host took this "Family Feud" show on the road here in America in the early 1990's, trying to make it the USA's best game show in history versus at the time of "Wheel or Fortune and The Price is Right" as opposed to other celebrity host.
"Family Feud host Ray Combs" stated in several 1990's USA interviews that he honestly loved this family loving show and will continue to publicize it's popularity to make it a better family TV dinner show versus "Wheel of Fortune and the lunch-time/morning show called "The Price is Right" starring life-time host Bob Barker, which he did eventually after his death in 1996.
Unfortunately? The most favorite game show host of the "Family Feud" Ray Combs will always be remembered as committing suicide from his hospital bed sheets in his closet of 1996 . Although viewers and fans never realized that Ray Combs was the number one celebrity/person that was most committed and dedicated to this famous and lovable show called "Family Feud" over the years, although the Mark Goodson, Inc. owners seemed to be jealous of Ray Combs at the time for some strange reason in the early 1990's?
The news reported during the taping of his final episode, which aired in first-run syndication on May 27, 1994, instead of mingling with the two competing families at the end of the show, depressed and confused Ray Combs proceeded to walk off the set immediately after his sign-off performance and obviously never turning his back to this famous TV show years later, apparently causing unforgettable emotional damage in his heart, simply because of so much hard work over the years, regarding this famous TV show, and finally committed suicide.
The most recent "Family Feud" TV game show host since 1993, besides Ray Combs, include famous celebrities such as: Richard Karn, Seinfeld's John O' Hurley, Steve Harvey, comedian Louie Anderson and the original game show 1976 host Richard Dawson who "loved to kiss all the women on their mouths" in the year of 1976. Which most female viewers thought at the time in history this was a disgusting sexual behavior!
Ray Combs will mostly be remembered as being the best and dedicated host of "Family Feud". Simply because of his comedy and true belief of this hit TV game show for all American viewers and even foreign viewers. John O' Hurley always makes the funniest faces when the survey panel comes up with some really stupid answers! Richard Karn always seems to have a specific remark about these stupid answers, which shows these two game show host intelligence and fast thinking.
This particular game is always one of weirdest things regarding this hit TV game show simply called "Family Feud". The most obvious answers are not always the "correct answers" the answer(s) is chosen from the TOP 100 survey people with an immediate response, which are normally pretty stupid? In other words? If I told you that you have one-half second to answer this simple question? "What color is a yellow rose?" Would you honestly answer Yellow? Or would the pressure be so great, that you answered Red? Which is the most common color of a rose. Think about it?
The present day "Family Feud" host here in the year of 2011, is African-American lovable Steve Harvey, which seems to be confused at times, possibly because he is still new to the show or could it be possibly because he is the first Black person to host this incredible all races TV game show. Recently, "a beautiful white young woman told Harvey that he was the best host this show had so far!"
Harvey did have a "stunned look on his face at the time during final 2010 programming! Was it because of her beauty? Or was it because he was black and she was white?" The look in Steve Harvey's television eyes during a close frame shot, seem to be one with amazement and confusion regarding this TV moment in history. Especially after proceeding from so many white-American male host.
This glamorous, simple and even modern hit television show called "Family Feud" is still shown as much as (6) six times per day on the Game Show Network (GSN). Here in Atlanta, Ga. USA, it is shown on the local WPCH (Channel 17) from 12:00-1:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
