On Monday's night episode of Raw The Miz was pinned by Jerry The King Lawler. The Miz being pinned by The King got me thinking "Why does The Miz keep losing to Legends?" For those of you who don't remember The Miz lost his United States Championship to Bret Hart back on May 17th. At the time Hart was 52 years old. I did not think The Miz should have lost to Bret Hart, especially the Championship. It was not that big of deal since it was only the United States Championship. Now that The Miz is the WWE Champion it is a big deal. I don't think he should have been pinned by The King, even if he had some help from his teammate Randy Orton. The Miz being pinned by The King makes him look like less of a Champion, because The King is 61 years old. I can not think of a time where John Cen. or Randy Orton was defeated by a Legend. That could just prove how AWESOME The Miz is. The only reason I can think of why The Miz was defeated by Hart and King, is because of how much the WWE Universe dislikes The Miz. The Miz is so disliked that whomever pins him is going to get cheers from the crowd. WWE should at least try to make it realistic. The Miz should not be losing to men over the age of 50 in the first place, but if he has to lose it should be by count out or disqualification.

Post a CommentTo be fair, Jerry Lawler wouldn't have pinned the Miz if it wasn't for Randy Orton. This could all lead to extra fuel for the Miz/Orton feud.
Miz is the kind of champion that can lose to anyone on any night. It makes for great TV. Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels were somewhat the same way when they were world champions.
I have been a fan of The Miz all year long. He's not that much different than Edge or Chris Jericho, but people just want to hate. The fact of the matter is he does what he says he's going to do and some people can't deal with that. I hope he holds on to that championship for awhile, but he has to defend it next week in a Steel Cage match here in Baltimore, so we'll see.
