I'm not that upset with the TNA World Heavyweight Championship changing hands because Hardy almost held the Championship for three months. Nor am I upset about the TNA World Tag Team Championships changing hands because The Motor City Machine Guns almost held the Championships for six months.
I am upset that the TNA Television Championship changed hands so soon. Douglas Williams just won the Championship at Final Resolution, which took place on December 5th. A little over a month later he lost the Championship at GENESIS. This was not so bad because Aj Styles held the Championship for close to six months before losing to Douglas Williams.
I am very upset that the TNA X-Division Championship changed hands again. Since September 16th, 2010 the Championship has changed hands six times.
Jay Lethal won the Championship on September 16th, 2010. He remained Champion until September 23rd, 2010.
Amazing Red won the Championship on September 23rd, 2010. He remained Champion until September 25th, 2010.
Jay Lethal won the Championship on September 25th, 2010. He remained Champion until November 7th, 2010.
Robbie E won the Championship on November 7th, 2010. He remained Champion until December 16th, 2010.
Jay Lethal won the Championship on December 16th, 2010. He remained Champion until January 9th, 2011.
Kazarian won the Championship on January 9th, 2011. He is the current TNA X-Division Champion.
As you can see the Championship has changed has six times in less than five months. To me that is horrific and something needs to change. Since Jay Lethal held the Championship three out of the six times. It makes me wonder if TNA is upset with him. If they are upset with him why continually give him more chances at being Champion?

Post a CommentGreat article. I'm not a wrestling fan but you made this an interesting read.
The worst part is the X-Division Title really doesn't mean much anymore. The talent in the X-Division is very lackluster compared to previous years.
Is it just because they can and they want to keep the fans on the edge of their seats?
I agree that the X-Division championship changes too often. Hopefully Kaz will have a good run with it.
I don't follow it anymore, thanks for the good recap
