Let's go ahead and just pretend that the Bible is true. Now if the Bible is accurate then evil and sin originated (for mankind anyway) with Adam and Eve. If you know the book of Genesis then you should recall that God gave them access to anything in the garden and the world with the exception of the tree that produced fruit of knowledge of good and evil. He gave them instructions, strict easy to understand instructions and allowed them to make their decision.
Now we know how it turned out. The point is God created humans to be His children, His beloved. Now think about you and your spouse and how you are planning to have a child. Do you want a robot that you can control, that will like everything you tell it to? That robot isn't much of a replacement for a child. God is the same way (remember He created us in His image). He didn't create the entire universe, the entire planet and all of its intricacies only to control the actions and thoughts of every living thing. Why would He?
We have free will and that is also part of the justification of Jesus Christ. Now a believer in Christ will know that Christ was God in a man's body who felt the feelings of a human, was tempted just as humans are and was brutally murdered in the end and all for the forgiveness of His follower's sins. Notice I said followers. He will not forgive someone who isn't sorry. Sin is evil. We have a choice on Earth to choose God, to bring Him into our lives and to allow Him to save us. He is always there waiting, He has chosen everyone and He has given us the freedom to either reject Him or embrace Him. Those who do not want God cannot be a part of His kingdom in the end. Why? That's not fair? Well, if we have the choice to choose Him and embrace Him and trust in Him but we don't and we reject Him then we are rejecting our future with Him (paradise) and we are subject to the other place. (hell)
If you are not a Christian yet are curious about what you have read I encourage you to first open your mind, second get a Bible and third go and have a one on one with a Christian pastor whom you feel comfortable speaking with. Please understand that pastors are not perfect and some may seem judgmental or dry or whatever. That is also part of the whole God didn't make us perfect argument. So take your time, find someone who you can truly communicate with comfortably and start small, one little chapter at a time. The Bible is a big book with a lot of scripture and it cannot be solved or understood over night.
God Bless.
