Why Doing Weight Watchers for Free Fails

Amy Brantley
It's true that if you do enough searching you can find the information you need to do Weight Watchers for free. I admit that I have attempted to do this and am here to say that it doesn't always work. There are a number of reasons why it pays to spend the money on a Weight Watchers membership. So, before you think about doing the plan for free, consider the following.

The Weight Watchers Points Formula Changes

You've finally found the Points formula, which means you'll have no problem doing the Weight Watchers diet for free. There's only one problem. The information you have may be outdated. Weight Watchers continuously updates the formula based on the latest weight loss information available. Because the Weight Watchers formula is so secretive, it is impossible to even know if you have the updated formula, which means you may not be eating the right amount of points to lose weight.

Doing the Weight Watchers Plan for Free Is Time Consuming

One of the number one reasons diets fail is they require too much work. If you're doing the Weight Watchers plan for free, you will have to do a lot of research. This means looking up Points values, trying to figure out the new formula, trying to track your activity - trust me, it's a lot of work. This is why I gave up on Weight Watchers when I tried to do it on my own.

You May Not Get the Support You Need

Whether you're doing Weight Watchers online or attending the meetings, the plan offers a wonderful support system. This support system helps keep you motivated, offers advice on what you need to change to make the plan work, along with an understanding of where you are and where you've been. A support system is one of the most valuable tools you can find when trying to lose weight.

The Information at Weight Watchers Cannot Be Beat

The number one reason it pays to buy a Weight Watchers membership is the amount of information available. Not only is this information up to date, but it's easy to search and has everything you need to be successful in your weight loss efforts in one area. You'll find recipes, activity tips, Points lists and a variety of tools to help you meet your goals. At a price of less than $20 per month, you owe it to yourself to pay for a Weight Watchers membership and get the help you need.
