With all seven books being out and read by most, if not all fans, the excitement of wanting to know the wizard boy's fate is finally over. The last and final book released July 21 2007. And it did not disappoint. The magical journey the series was able to take us on was one of a kind. Watching Harry Potter and his two close friends Ronald Weasley and Hermione Granger grow up in front of our eyes was an experience many would've never thought they would've gained from a book in their lives.
Sure many see Twilight as an action/romance novel, but the way I see it, Bella and Edward don't even come close in comparison to the romance Harry brings, with his juicy hook up with his best friends little sister, Ginny Weasley. The excitement is so much more than a vampire who falls for a human. Not only do the novels bring romance, but even the intense war that is going on within the wizard world is almost to good for our own imaginations. Prophecies and Horcruxes have to be broken. In the end good prevails and Lord Voldermort is defeated with an amazing duel and epic battle that takes place at Hogwarts.
The Twilight series has nothing on Harry Potter and is in no way a close match. Harry Potter will always be known for the magical experiences it has brought so many of us. The scared wizard will always be known as the one who changed reading forever. And no series of novels of any other mythical creature shall take away.

harry potter is awesome
Honestly, Harry Potter is extremely well written and beautiful in it's plot and storyline. I find that the characters are more relatable besides the fact that they can shoot magic out of their wands. I'm a thirteen year old girl and Twilight had never caught me in the first place; Bella is extremely annoying, Edward is kind of arrogant, and the rest of the characters are incredibly...well bland. Whenever I attempt to compromise with a "twitard", they always end up saying, "It's a story about true love while Harry Potter is about little kids." Really now? What I see in Twilight is 'true' lust because Bella really only likes Edward for his body in the beginning, which is indeed noted by her friends when they say he is "beautiful" (which I've heard is the ONLY adjective the author uses throughout the entire series for Edward). And then, Edward likes (or excuse me, "loves") Bella for her blood?
Heh, Okay then.

You lost me completely with this one. I took my nephew to see it, and he was bored 15 minutes into it. We finally got up and left when I started dozing off. On the other hand, I walked into "Eclipse" and sat there with my eyes glued to the screen the entire movie, went home and read all four books and saw the three movies within a month's time.
