Why I'm 100% Pro Choice

First off I feel that a woman's body is her own not the state's and it is no one's business what she does with it so long as she is not harming another person. Here we get into the main argument of the anti choice crowd. A fetus, or embryo is a person and if you abort you are taking a persons life.

A few of the main points the anti choice crowd likes to use to defend their position are as follows. I have included them below along with counter points.

An embryo or fetus is person because it's made of human tissue.

So is my rectum so that kills that argument.

A fetus is a person because it has a heart beat.

Are you serious? Insects have hearts and we step on them with out a second thought.

An embryo/fetus is a person because it is alive and abortion is "taking a life"

Being alive doesn't make you a person (can you get any shallower in your reasoning and more illogical?) and I don't believe in life any way, it's just a word some one came up with to describe things that move around by them selves.

A fetus is a person because in the video "Silent Scream" a fetus squirms to get away from (excuse me here I'm cracking up over the image in the video) a suction instrument.

So what, a cockroach will squirm like hell if you stick it with a pin. And I would have no problem aborting untold thousands of fetuses right this instant if say I could do it with say, the push of a button. (If you don't believe me just try me)

It doesn't matter if a fetus/embryo is a person since it will be if it is allowed to develop. We have no right to interrupt that process because we are denying this potential person their life.

You have got to be kidding me. You could say that a sperm cell is a potential person to true, it would take one more step for it to get on the way but what's one more step? It still has the potential to be a person and every time one of you conservative Christians empties your self into a kleenex, you have just denied about a million or so "people" their futures, yet you think nothing of it. Point is, until it is a person, it isn't a person, and you can't deny any thing to a person who does not exist. You're just so amazed at the little growing parasite that you start jumping to conclusions.

Finally; an embryo / fetus is not a person because it has no mind. No fetus will ever write a poem, or start a religion or ponder the meaning of life, or pour piss out of a boot. One did grab a surgeon's finger one time, but there was no boot full of piss available to see if it could pour.
