Baseball, golf, and boxing are the other three games offered on the Wii Sports Pack. Warning! With all of these games you will end up sweaty! I even pulled a muscle in my neck from playing tennis the first few times. I tend to whack the tennis racquet which is not necessary!
It is fun to play these games and the better you get, the better your computer opponent gets. This makes the challenge even more fun.
You can challenge an individual from your family in a tennis match, boxing match, golf or baseball game. There is always another chance if you lose!
Nursing homes are investing in the Wii Game System. Elderly that used to love bowling are now forming leagues! No more holding a heavy bowling ball. I am sure the other virtual games are a hit, too.
Thankfully the Wii remotes come with a wrist band so you do not throw your remote through the television. Don't laugh! It has happened. Wii was even in a law suit over a remote going through an expensive television.
Everyone gets to create a character of themselves to use called a Mii.
My husband and I love the Wii on weekend mornings. The kids play games against each other while we sleep in! A big breakfast is served when we awaken from our slumber. Eggs, bacon, and toast or pancakes or cinnamon French toast. The boys work up an appetite after challenging each other.
After getting up early all week and working hard, coming home to play with your kids, making dinner, and doing homework with your children who would not love to sleep in on Saturday and Sunday morning?
Guitar Hero is a wonderful game that the Wii offers. It makes me feel good that my young kids are being exposed to music. They can test their guitar playing skills. With the game Rock Band you can test your skills with multiple instruments.
The Wii is a homework incentive! Tell your children no Wii until their homework is done. Ever since Santa brought the Wii, our kids come home from school, eat a snack, and delve into their homework.
Naughty kids? Warn them you will be taking away precious Wii playing time as a consequence. The Wii is a privilege. Be sure to follow through with your warning if bad behavior persists. Our kids learned real fast we meant business!
The website Game Daily.com offers a review of each game. This way you can be safe before you spend $20.00 to $50.00 on a game before you buy it. I wanted to buy my husband a game for his upcoming birthday that sounded fun, but was rated really low. I saved our money and a bad gift by using this website. (Other game system's products are reviewed on this website, too.)
My husband and I also recommend the Wii because it really saves money. How? You know your kids have many toys and half of them break after spending a lot of money on them. Or the toys are all over the house. With the Wii you can train your kids to put the discs away in their proper place after they are done playing. For gifts they can have money, gift certificates towards games or the actual Wii game on their list that they will get hours of learning and enjoyment from.

Post a CommentI agree completely! I love our Wii and the bowling especially. The first couple of weeks we had it, my arms and shoulders were so sore I felt like I'd been in a car wreck! Talk about feeling old...
Hey! Those are really appealing reasons! Now I'm really thinking about buying a Wii.
I had no idea...very compelling reasons!
You forgot one disadvantage to owning a Wii.... you end up with extra kids at your house!!! LOL! Advantage for me you owning a Wii.. but I think I would see that as a downfall being the owner! LMAO!
This may have to be added to my list of needs.
My nephew Jordan has one. I've never played it, but he loves it, and the bowling game looks pretty cool to play.
I love the Wii, except for when I get Wii arm after doing the bowling.
very nice job, thanks a lot.
I have a variety of game systems but not the Wii. I may own this system as well one of these days. Also, the Gamecube games can be used for the Wii.
I would love a Wii. I'm sending this article to my boyfriend.
