Why You Should Join My Coke Rewards

Get Free Stuff from My Coke Rewards!

Marie M. Daniels
If you like freebies or contests and sweepstakes then My Coke Rewards might be for you. Collect points to get gifts such as: free movie tickets, photo books from Snapfish, and items from Six Flags just to name a few. With My Coke Rewards you collect codes that are printed on the bottle caps or on the 12 pack boxes. After you have created your account at MyCokeRewards.com then you can add points to your account and redeem them for prizes.

If you want you can also redeem your Coke points to support a good cause. Or donate your points to a local elementary or high school instead of another one of those annoying fundraisers. The schools can use the reward points for textbooks, sports equipment, creative supplies and field day fun packs.

One reason I signed up for the Coke rewards is so I can get more Coke brand products. I can use the points I collect to get free 20 ounce Coke bottles. I can also get coupons for one dollar off of Coke 12 packs. Because I am a frugal shopper this program works well for me. I get codes and then redeem them for coupons then use the coupons to buy 12 packs of Coke products while they are on sale and I also get more codes.

If you don't buy Coke products that often you can get codes elsewhere. If you work in an office you can hit up your coworkers for their bottle cap codes. You can ask friends and family to save the Coke rewards points for you. You can also get codes by saving the planet, or buy picking up trash. By just cleaning up trash or litter you can get yourself some free Coke rewards codes. Good places to find discarded bottles with lids are at sporting events, around parks, and in some parking lots.

Another reason I signed up at MyCokeRewards.com is to enter sweepstakes and contests. I like to enter contests, even though I usually never win anything. My Coke Rewards has a multitude of contests, sweepstakes and instant win contests to enter. The nice thing is that the sweepstakes are all located in one place. You also know that you are at a legitimate site and your personal info isn't going to the wrong places.

You may have heard that they were going to end the My Coke Rewards program. Well it seems that they have been threatening to end the rewards program every year since 2007. Coke has extended the program at the very least until the end of 2009. So if you want to get in on the program don't wait, sign up soon.

Good article. I think the free 20 oz cokes are the best offer. I don't like the sweepstakes because it seems like your throwing your points away. I'd rather have a coke than nothing.

I just joined yesterday. I am sorry RV had such a hard time. I just entered the caps I had laying around here. We don't drink coke that much though but lots of my friends do.

I used to love this program until just recently; I had to contact them regarding a prize they said was sent out but I never got it. Again, I tried to redeem points in April, and I still haven't received my prize though the site says my order was fulfilled. In addition, I try to ask for web help, type in my question and get the "Error, your question cannot be sent" message repeatedly so I can't get ahold of them to figure out where my item is.
I don't know what happened to this program but they went downhill FAST. Sad for such a big name company.

I'd have to get my caps from others. Can't stand drinking that sugary garbage.
