Why is Kim Kardashian so Popular? What's the Buzz?

Kim Kardashian is popular because she is beautiful, funny and comes from a family full of wealth and fame. Some say she was born to be famous. Others strictly blame her sex tape release.

Kim Kardashian stars on Keeping up with the Kardashians, a realty TV show showing the insight into her family's day to day life. Kim Kardashian has four sisters Khloe, Kourtney, Kendall and Kylie.

I have been watching Keepingup with the Kardashians the last several months. I have watched the old and the new episodes, and have learnt plenty about this family.

Kris Kardashian, Kim's mother doesn't seem to have any morals and is Kim's manager. She seems to further push Kim into adult photos shoots and such. Kim's stepfather Bruce has a bit of a problem with some one the immoral behaviors that happen around the household but is hesitant to give his say.

Her biggest self promote was due to her sex tape release starring herself and her at the time male companion Ray J. The video swamped the internet. Her first response was to deny what was obviously her in the pornographic video and that it even existed. She then she later admitted to being the star. Its release from Vivid Entertainment caused Kim Kardashian to file suit against them to claim ownership of the sex video. The end result was Kim settling with Vivid Entertainment for 5 million dollars.

Playboy also asked Kim Karadshian to pose nude for their magazine. After the photo shoot Kim Kardashian was surprised herself when she noticed she was to be on the 2007 December cover of Playboy magazine. Playboy magazine was eager to have Kim Kardashian work with them.

Kim was also known for being the former close friend of Paris Hilton. Rumors have it that Paris was jealous of Kim but nobody is for sure. I myself have yet to see a comment by Kim about the issue.

Kim Kardashian's parents, father Robert and Kris Kardashian were known for being involved with OJ Simpson and Nicole Brown Simpson. Kris Kardashian was recognized for being the close friend of Nicole Brown Simpson at the time of her death. Kim Karadashian's father Robert Kardashian was OJ Simpson's attorney.

Kim Kardashian's mother and father separated, resulting in her mother Kris marrying Bruce Jenner. Bruce Jenner was a former Olympic gold medalist who was also famous for starring on reality TV shows, Play Girl Magazine, and appearing on cereal boxes. Bruce Jenner also stars on Keeping up with the Kardashians.
