Why Kobe Bryant is the Most Clutch Player in the NBA

Andrew Ng
The clock runs down as he counts down the seconds in his head, down by two with the game on the line he knows that his team need a three to bring home the win. Two seconds left he shakes off the defender well the ones that he can and he can shoots and makes an off balance three lifting off with one leg. He comes through in the clutch again but more importantly his team got the win.

People call it being great having that killer instinct in the clutch, not stressing out about the score doing what his team needs of him to win the game. Whether it is making the extra pass, taking the shot or even making the defensive play to win the game in the winding seconds. For this player he has been through it all and that shot was not even the most clutch of his storied career. Back in 04 with the division on the line down by 3 he takes and makes the three pointer sending the game into overtime with another three in overtime to end the game in the winding seconds. Then 4 years before he made the pass for the dunk that sent his team to the NBA finals for the first time in almost a decade.

People call it luck but how can one man be so lucky? It is not luck it is skill he has been through it over and over again opponents call him the most feared player in the NBA epically in the winding seconds of the game with the win on the line. Some of it is luck but most of it is the skill the basketball IQ to know what to do with the game on the line some players will make that extra pass and lose the game.To most players when they make the game winning shot it is the game of their lives to him it is just another game having fun doing what he loves most playing the great game of basketball. He has been called the Black Mamba and the 8th wonder of the world but he calls himself Kobe Bryant the shooting guard for the defending world champs the Los Angeles Lakers.
