On top of the surroundings, you have a large array of coffees, teas and baked treats to choose from. They have flavors that you wouldn't even think to have in your coffee, but they'll blow you out of the water. They have coffee latte flavors such as, raspberry, Almond, Caramel and Irish Crème (holding the alcohol). You can also stop in for a great smooth with any fruit you could imagine. My all time favorite though, is the Very Iced Tiki Tea. Want to talk about an escape during the day. You take one sip and you feel as though you are on a vacation. It's a great blend of exotic teas and really takes the edge off my day. In the winter months, I must admit I truly enjoy going in for a nice hot cocoa. They even have different flavors of those. You can get Chocolate Truffle (which is my favorite), Raspberry Parfait, Orange, Pecan and lots more.
As for their treats, if you work in any of the surrounding office buildings within in a 5 mile radius of either location, you know the best place to go get a snack in the middle of the day.
To top off the food, the staff is so friendly, and they're always smiling. Nothing brightens my day more than having a friendly face greet me with a smile when I just need that boosted caffeine kick. I'd honestly go here just to get good service with a smile, even if the coffee was terrible.
Considering this coffee hut is surrounded in an area full of Dunkin Donuts, they've been in business for quite some time, and are still going strong. People in the Shrewsbury and Northborough areas will always pick La La Java over any other coffee house. You even see people driving down the roads sporting the La La Java bumper stickers.
Hopefully, as the years go by, La La Java will expand even more so other people in Massachusetts can get a taste of La La Java in their area. This original coffee house gets an A+ in my book!

Post a CommentI worked for the regional office of Dunkin' Douts many years ago and I would buy DD coffee over anything else. Don't have many DD's down south unfortunately.
