Why Do Liberals Have Contempt for Christianity?

S.E. Cup is a conservative pundit and author. She frequently appears on political talk shows and writes articles on political websites. Although she is a staunch conservative, she is also an atheist. I especially enjoy watching her debate with liberal atheists. Many liberal atheists, like Bill Maher, have a contempt for religion and people of faith. S.E. Cupp does not.

I have found that most atheists that I have come across are obsessed with their hatred for religion and true believers. They go out of their way to pick a fight about religion, creation and the bible. They often compare God to "unicorns" and fairytales. They call believers stupid, ignorant, child-like, delusional and dangerous. They mock religion, God and the faithful. I enjoy debating them because it is very easy to disprove their arguments because they are mainly based on emotion and they never give up.

Anyhow, S.E. Cupp also likes to debate with atheists. Although she is an atheist herself, she has respect for Christianity and those who believe.
