Firstly, great dancers and impressive singers would no longer be a select few. You, your friends, family members, strangers on the corner - talent would run rampant in the musical world in and around you. Choreography would never need to be practiced, or your own voice. You would remain pitch perfect and spot-on. Most interludes and dance numbers would be spontaneous and impromptu so you would always be on your nimble toes for the next performance.
Humdrum activities could be major memorable events without any traces of tedium. Need to tie your shoes? Have the town join in your song. Going shopping for socks? Make it a trip to remember with store employees and cashiers dancing to the beat. You would also have your own themes throughout the day, complete with full orchestral sound. There would never be a dull moment during anyone's day.
Death would remain sad, but always with a symbolic or large meaning that involved the people you cared about. If you were a very crucial and important person in the community, your death would affect the songs and joys of those left alive. If you had to deal with death yourself, simply sing a sad, meaningful song or duet - you'll get over it all too soon and express it with pomp and vigor.
People would be very open with their emotions and ambitions. If you were shy, you'd still sing about it as loudly as the school quarterback. Better still, the only way one could be criticized for his beliefs is if a duet or song battle erupted, and those beat debates and grudges any day. Everyone would be fair game to achieve lifelong goals.
Love would always be true; you would not have to second-guess your feelings for another person. If you start to serenade him/her and they sing back, that's your lifelong match, no questions asked. And love wouldn't be taken advantage of. You would both be as a god to the other and would sing and dance to no end expressing your affections. The downside is that trips away from your match would seem a lifetime, doubled even more by the fact you both lament about being separated. In short, musical love is always true and empowered, and would be remarkable in reality.
If life became a musical, like any great musical it would be full of song, dance, ups, downs, and everything in between. We can all agree that often real life needs to be a musical, as both triumph and tragedy could be managed more easily - and artistically - by your own voice and talents. Give it some serious thought the next time you feel down. The world could be far better off for people if it was a musical for all to share.
