Why I Love David Archuleta
Who Should Win American Idol
David Cook and David Archueta are both extremely talented. I will not leave out Syesha Mercado either. She is darling and has probably grown the most of any of these performers over the last month. She has stayed consistent and has found her niche. I wasn't as impressed with her Proud Mary performance. I think it is really hard to top Tina Turner but her last song blew Paula away, not that that necessarily proves anything. I will give Paula credit though. She may be ditzy and drugged up but she is always kind.
David Archuleta has won my heart. He is genuine, humble spiritual and very sincere. I can see why all the young girls love him. I think he has won the hearts of the mothers and grandmothers too. David Archuleta has listened to all the mentors and taken their advice. He sings with such passion and makes each song his own.
I hated to see Michael Johns and Carlye Smithson leave but as they say they are all still in the top 10. I expect to see all of them go on to record and sing for as long as they choose to do so. Brook White was also a favorite of mine until she sang I'm a Believer. I have to agree with Simon on that. They are all entitled to make mistakes. I cannot imagine what it would be like to be under a microscope like they all are.
The next month is going to be very exciting and I am already dreading the end of this season. I admit I am an American Idol fan.

I love Archeleta's humility and heart. I think he will have a career no matter what.
I read that David Archuleta's dad was difficult too. Then you see David and your think he must have the most loving gentle kind parents, it just goes to show that a lot of what we are is born in us or our choice I guess. If his dad is difficult or mean to David I hope he gets what he deserves he doesn't deserve a loving gentle son like David.

David A. was on Star Search when he was much younger but there is a rumor mill about his father being difficult. I think he is fantastic especially for his age. I also think it might be good for him to win such a restrictive as American Idol will give him because it will allow him to grow for the next few years hile still haveing controls in place. I almost hate to say it but I kind of want to hear him do Barry Mannilow! I love David C. too. I think it will come down to the two of them in the end and eitr would be a good choice though my guess is that David A. will thrive with this kind of contract and David C. might struggle a little. He might do better for himself as the runner up. Another great overview.
