A city boy like myself may find it difficult to imagine himself in a Jeep Wrangler at times. That is, until he gets to drive one and test out its off-road capability. He may not even realize he wants a vehicle with off-road capability as impressive as the Jeep Wrangler's, until he hits an open dirt road himself.
Then there's no turning back.
The six cylinder automatic SE offers fair acceleration, along with a thousand-pound towing capacity. The ride is stiff but steady. The Jeep Wrangler isn't very fuel efficient, which is troubling in these times, but if it's used just for off-roading, the Jeep Wrangler is hard to beat.
Once you become accustomed to the Jeep Wrangler, you are bound to fall in love with its style. The soft top provides an exceptional driving experience on beautiful days. Although you may struggle removing and replacing the soft top the first few weeks or months, it eventually becomes second nature. Once it does, it becomes difficult to drive a vehicle with a non-removable top.
The Jeep Wrangler is best for people who live in places where there is no winter. It's not the safest vehicle on the market, and so I wouldn't take my chances with it on the ice and snow.
The Jeep Wrangler offers adequate room for storage, and now Jeep also offers a larger Wrangler with four doors. The Jeep Wrangler continues to offer decent resale values, even in this tough economy where more fuel-efficient vehicles are generally preferred.
The Jeep Wrangler is very popular in Hawaii. The Wrangler assists many residents and tourists alike. Without one, it is nearly impossible to discover many of the islands' hidden gems, such as Oahu's Hidden Beach. On the mainland, the Jeep Wrangler is most popular in areas with lots of open space. The Jeep can be difficult to navigate in the city, but it sure does love the open road.
The Jeep Wrangler starts at around $18,000. The top model fully equipped will run buyers about $30,000. It's also important these days to factor in the high price of fuel. Perhaps most notable about the 2009 Jeep Wrangler is that one of the Wrangler's most popular colors is back. Jeep finally offers the Wrangler in bright yellow again.
There are a lot of reasons to love your Jeep Wrangler. Its style, its size, its off-road capability. But like that odd acquaintance that finally comes to grow on you, you can't count on the Jeep Wrangler to be liked or understood by all. Alas, especially not by your significant other.
