Why I Love the Motorola Razor Phone

eiffelvu
This past Christmas I received my nifty little pink Motorola Motorazr phone and have been very satisfied with it from day one....It is so versatile, handy and easy to use...it's one of the smallest phones on the market today, measuring 3 ½ inches by 2 inches and flips open and shut with just one hand. This little baby is small enough to fit in my pocket or purse and even the palm of my hand...and I have a small hand

When you first open the box you will find the battery, the wall charger, a very easy to follow user guide and the cable that connects the USP mini port to your computer...also ear buds and I mustn't forget, the phone of course....

This lightweight phone has an aluminum body and packed with a vast amount of options and features ....The instruction booklet is very easy to use and even I, a non techy person, didn't have many problems figuring out how to use them....I've learned to program what I needed and to use many of the options....you just have to read and follow the prompts on the phone as they appear.....it really isn't difficult at all.

The Features

The first thing you notice on the phone is the small screen located on the outside. It is this screen that you can add a photograph, or one of the wallpapers that come loaded already in the phone...But, It's on the inside where you will find the larger 2.2 inch display screen. Here you will see the bigger picture of what you see on the outside, easily changed at your whim, when you take some of your own pictures, right now I can see the sweet face of one of my kitties...above the picture on the screen is where you will find the time, and also informs you when phone needs charging. It is here you will find your 5 faves...

We use T-mobile as our phone service and one of the best perks they offer is this feature of 5 faves. You can program 5 numbers into the phone and it doesn't matter how many calls you make to those numbers, even if they are long distance, the calls are free...You can't change your faves at whim though but only at 30 day intervals...another nice perk is that you can add pictures of those 5 people or use one of the many icons programmed into the phone to represent them..when you want to call one of those 5 just rotate the circle that they appear in until that person is front and center and hit send...it's that easy

Another plus is that the numbers are easy to dial and work at the slightest touch. I also like the sound quality and the adjustments you can make for how loud you want the sound to be...I have a little hearing loss and I have no problems listening to others speak on this phone

My favorites

Without a doubt is the digital camera....this is something I've wanted for a while now and I have been enjoying it immensely....it is easy to access from two different places on the phone, one, the display screen on the inside, just hit the Fun and Applications button where most of the extra options are for this phone....the other way is even faster, just hit the button placed conveniently on the outside of the phone...with this feature you can take pictures without anyone knowing.just don't forget to take your finger off the little viewfinder...

I also like the fact that when the phone needs recharging it lets you know with a little beep so there are no surprises when you want to use the phone, only to find it dead. I hate when that happens!

There are so many other features on the phone, it is almost like a miniature computer...the camera alone is equipped with a self timer, a 4X zoom and a video recorder with up to 15 seconds of record time...you have to ability to send your pictures and videos to others....text messaging is another easy to use feature and you can add pictures to those messages as well....then you can download the pictures you want to keep to your computer but, you have to buy optional software for that

I find it easy to store numbers into the phonebook as well as programming those 5 faves....funny thing, in my opinion the most important item is the instruction book. Everything you need to know is easily explained with easy to follow directions

All in all, I think this Motorola Motorazr phone is fabulous and the best cell phone I've ever had...there are so many options I just couldn't list them all here but just to name a few there is an Alarm Clock, a date book, web access, calculator and optional dialing services and, you can personalize everything to your specifications ...your greeting, wallpaper, screensaver and ring styles...you can also use the speakerphone option easily without fumbling.

It's all here in this nifty little convenient and very easy to use phone.

How do you print text messages from the Motorola Razor? Have not found a way to print directly to a printer or to download to a computer. US Cellular has not been able to help.

Cool review, I have owned many different phones and the razor has been my favorite as well. They are very durable, withstanding almost any trauma I put it through! They do not like water of course ;)

Sounds like this phone has a lot of very good features. I know people who have the razor, they love it. My granddaughter wants one, but, I'm under a two years contract with another company. She has to wait until the two years is up on her phone. I think it's almost up. Very good review.

I have a pink razor phone too! I also got mine last Christmas, but I still haven't figured out all of the features yet. So thanks for the help!
