Why I Love Sandra Bullock

Loving Sandra in Her New Role in the Blind Side

I saw the clips of "The Blind Side" when I saw the movie of 2012. The Blind Side immediately caught my interest because it features Sandra Bullock, my all time favorite actress. I saw Sandra Bullock in lots of funny yet serious movies. I love her in Ms. Congeniality because of her strong character and spunky remarks, as well as her spontaneity. I adored her in Speed with Matrix star Keanu Reeves because of her courage and quick wit character. I again fell head-over-heels for her antics in The Proposal as a career oriented woman but sensitive and needing love very badly.

If you'll notice, most of these movies projected the different sides of Sandra Bullock. Her choice of movies to work for showed her care for the kind of image that she would portray to the public. Her values also are reflected on the kind of roles that she takes. These roles embody a strong character woman, principled and very talented. Her being smart makes her star shines brighter.

With her new movie, The Blind Side, where she plays a blond caring woman, it made me want to see the movie immediately and it makes me feel excited for what kind of character she would then portray. Her interview, which I saw in HBO, tells me that the movie is inspiring and a serious one. The value of caring for a family and taking in another member, who is very much different from you is something of a risk yet the clips showed that both sides gained from the experience. I think that the movie would be very moving and seeing Sandra sporting a blond hair gave me a jolt and then a smile because I never though that she can look good being blond. Though I admit that I prefer her wearing her hair dark. But being blond, it would not stop me seeing the movie. I know Sandra Bullock did her assignment well in her portrayal of her new role as Mrs. Touhy.
