Why Mom Posed with Baby Gabriel Johnson for MySpace Photo

The MySpace photo of Elizabeth Johnson with her son, eight-month-old baby Gabriel Johnson appears to have been taken in the hotel room of HomeGate Studios & Suites where she stayed with Baby Gabriel for the week of December 20. Yet the photo is not one of the six photos that police found in Johnson's camera and subsequently released to news media outlets. Johnson was arrested for custodial interference and has since been additionally charged with child abuse, kidnapping, and conspiracy to commit custodial interference. Baby Gabriel was last seen, with his mom, on the day after Christmas 2009.

Where the MySpace photo was taken. Of the six photos from Johnson's camera that police released, one of them shows the large dark headboard of the hotel bed. The MySpace profile photo shows what appears to be an identical headboard.

Why Johnson posed with Baby Gabriel for the MySpace photo. Johnson may have taken the other six photos for prospective parent or baby brokers. However, she may have posed for the MySpace photo with Baby Gabriel so she would have a keepsake of her infant son. Or was she gloating? Having posted it to her MySpace account showing an adventurous mood and the statement 'kiss my ass suckas' seems to signify a victorious gloating. A sort of 'no one can touch me now attitude' and perhaps a nasty message to Baby Gabriel's father, Logan McQueary-'look at me now with Baby Gabriel, Logan- you'll never see him again'.

Who took the MySpace of Johnson with Baby Gabriel. Did Johnson put the camera on a timer and take the photo? In the MySpace photo, shown with this article, Johnson appears to be sitting on the hotel bed as she holds Baby Gabriel. She looks too settled in the photo for her to have set up the shot for a timer and then hurry to pick up Baby Gabriel and pose- even for a ten-second delay. Although it is possible. But what if the mystery couple who Johnson claims came to the hotel room to pick up Baby Gabriel took the photo for Johnson?

If babysitter Analisa Urias had taken it on December 21 when she babysat Baby Gabriel, she would have said so in her interviews with police and the various news media outlets, wouldn't she? However, in the photo, Johnson appears to be dressed similarly to how Urias described her on the day she babysat. Johnson was dressed to kill in a tight midriff-baring top, tight jeans, and big heels.

Shut that thing up. When Urias babysat Baby Gabriel, she saw a scared neglected baby, who was listless and seemed to have a failure to thrive. Baby Gabriel appears that way in the MySpace profile photo- which Johnson must have posted to MySpace after kidnapping Baby Gabriel. Johnson however is dressed up and looking happy. She reportedly often said to McQueary when Baby Gabriel was crying, "Shut that thing up." In this photo, is Johnson looking happy because she's about to get rid of 'that thing' for good?
