Why is Myspace Caving in to Scientology's Demands?

Brett Davison
It would seem that the CoS is once again trying to silence the internet. Today, I visited my Myspace page (crude as it is, I am not very good with computers) and discovered that several videos I posted under the section that discussed my interests were now unavailable. I also found that on a page owned by someone who admitted to being a member of Anonymous, all videos were unavailable. It would deem that Myspace has been intimidated by the CoS into shutting down all videos that do not support it.

Since then, I have reposted not only the now-unavailable videos but also four more videos relating to Scientology. While all of these videos oppose Scientology, very few say anything but the plain and simple truth and only one is meant to be in any way humorous. This is not foul-mouthed bigotry, internet terrorism, or any form of misinformation. Quite the contrary, it is Scientology that has propagated all of these things and it is Anonymous that is standing up against them. Out of the videos that have been removed, I can only think of one that could be in any way illegal and that is only because it at one point employs the Scientology logo. Despite claiming the tax-exempt status of a church, Scientology operates like a business in that it employs copyright laws, allowing them to file lawsuits based on "violations" of these copyrights, such as the video I have just mentioned. That is the only legal basis for any offense I might have made against the "church."

Another anon claims to have recieved a message stating that Myspace has the right to delete any accounts for any reason. Is the website that couldn't stop pedophiles now trying to shut down a protest against religious tyranny? It would seem that Scientology's policy of suing anyone who dares to stand up to them is enough to scare Myspace into submission. It would seem that one of the most popular sites on the internet is choosing to sit by as Scientology tramples upon the inalienable right of every human being to the freedom of speech.

Well, I for one am not going to sit back and watch as my rights are violated by the most dangerous cult on the face of the earth. True, I am about as significant as an insect in the grand scheme of things, but whether the CoS likes it or not, insects sting. Insects kill. I hope AC gets sued. Why? Because if Associated Content has the backbone that Myspace lacks, then they will have thousands of concerned citizens around the globe prepared to help financially support AC in its legal battle against the CoS. The truth is, Scientology is no longer capable of backing up their threats. Any corporate lawsuit filed by the cult will be seen as another attack in the war between Scientology and Anonymous and it will be responded to.

Dude, you are indeed a man on a mission. Some may call it obsession, but I see your goal for what it is, and that's to expose this cult for what it is! They have been dying to get Oprah to join (along with her millions of disciples); remember when Tom Cruise and John Travolta appeared on her show back-to-back? It seems to me like they sent them out to woo her in!
