Why You Should Not Buy Window's Vista (TM)

Send Bill Gates a Message!

For months now we have been hearing about Windows Vista, the operating system that is to be the next biggest and greatest version of windows that Microsoft hopes to beta test on us. Remember the last "great" version of windows… XP? … the one that blue-screened Bill Gates during a demonstration caught on tape.

I'm here to tell you that you shouldn't buy it when it "finally" is stocked on shelves on January 30th, 2007. The main reason that you should not buy Windows Vista is that so long as we keep buying Microsoft's product, it will maintain it's lead over Linux, a completely free operating system that has very few of the viral problems than users of Microsoft experience.

It's like this: If you have a friend whose way you always have to pay, but everyone on earth wants to kick that friend's butt, and evidence such intention by lobbing nasty things at that friend constantly, some of which sticks and splatters onto you, it seems to me that the smart thing to do is to ditch that friend. Microsoft is that friend. There is NO Microsoft product that is not constantly the object of obsession by an unfriendly hacker or creator of the next virus or worm that will threaten to take down the Internet. My Mozilla Firefox browser didnt give a damn about viruses that target IE.

Yesterday, I launched my Internet Explorer, only to encounter a virus issue, wherein the browser started replicating itself. In a matter of a minute, it had opened over 100 versions of itself. Despite running a virus scan, I was unable to correct the problem. So, I decided to completely uninstall Internet Explorer. Despite making sure to select ONLY to rid myself of internet explorer, the folks at Microsoft saw fit to bundle that particular program with other popular accessories such as paint, and games. Yeah… that's right. Those S.O.Bs are cutting into my solitaire time.

In any case, I said "F" it and imported all of my bookmarks to Mozzilla Firefox, a far superior browser experience and stole a copy of Photoshop . It's more powerful than paint anyhow(OH SHUT UP… like you PAID for all that music. Get over yourself!). Paint sucks. As to Solitaire, I will just spend more time at addictinggames.com. There are cheaper, less-hassle ways to give money to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation than to buy their products over and over and over again. I'm tired of paying to be a beta-test subject. When Window's Vista comes out on January 30th, I guarantee you I won't be standing in line for it. You shouldn't be either. It's Time for Bill to get the message that while we appreciate his contributions to society, we are tired of paying for the "next greatest thing that ever existed since time began". At least that's my take.

Maybe you should try an AntiVirus software. Then it might not have been happening.
Your arguments for not buying Vista doesn't hold. I'm writing this comments on Vista, but not in IE or Mozzarella Firefox, but in Opera. A far superior browser than those mentioned. I got my copy of Vista through my MSDN license. I wouldn't pay for it, cause I think it's to expensive. And you will need pretty good performance on your PC.
But I think that your arguments for not buying Vista sucks. But hey, thats your right! But let everybody else decide for themselves. Or at least give them creative reasons.
