Why Not Invade Our Own Country?

With all the reports of illegal immigrants crossing our borders every day why won't the President assign troops to protect our borders here at home? In the past presidents have not batted an eye at sending hundreds upon thousands of soldiers to fight wars abroad, yet when it comes to our own homeland being invaded they sit idly by and do nothing.

Democrats will make arguments that letting illegal immigrants into our country will benefit our economy because businesses can pay illegals a much lesser wage in return for the same work an American would do for minimum wage or more. Their distorted idea is that illegal immigrants will take their paltry wages and pour it back into the American economy thus creating a profit. This is absurd. Nearly all of those here working illegally are doing so only to send their wages back across the borders to their families there.

This is very naive of those who feel that we should be welcoming illegal immigrants with open arms. A couple of years ago it was suggested that we should reach out to the illegal immigrant communities and entice them to invite their friends and families over here to work as well. They used the idea of letting them collect social security without requiring them to actually PAY INTO IT! As the economy is today, and the way social security was set up BEFORE we found ourselves in the financial crises we face today, the baby boomers would be the last to actually draw on social security. The system would then be bankrupt.

I feel that it would be in our country's best interest to secure our own borders and spend 'war funds' here at home. Stop the illegals from taking American jobs and dipping into social security funds that they did not contribute to!
