Why Not to Have a Pillow Fight with Your Sister

Years ago, when the children got into a fight with one another they used to pick up a pillow to hit you with.

And when they had trouble finding something to hit you with they would pick up a pillow and throw it at you, and hit you in the head. This is a story about pillows, The first pillows and the pillows of today.

when the pillows were first made, they were filled with chicken feathers. If you throw a pillow at your sister, the pillow will break open, and feathers will go everywhere. If the feathers go everywhere, you will have to pick every single feather up and it will take all day. The pillows are expensive and the material is getting rotten and will split open all over the place. Thus, you have feathers everywhere. An all day job.

Years ago when the pillows were first made the manufacturer used to fill the pillows with chicken feathers, as they were easier to find, and sometimes the pillows weren't heavy enough or fluffy enough to sleep on, so the man who made the pillows would put in an occasional chicken head, off of and old chicken, inside the pillow.. Just to make the pillow fluffy. And if you hit your sister in the head with this pillow, besides having to clean up feathers all day long, you could get hit in the head with a chicken head. And boy does it hurt. So if you throw a pillow at your sister and the pillows breaks open and feathers go all over the living room, you would spend all day cleaning up the feathers. And if there is a chicken head in the pillow you would have a sore head, and would have to go to the doctor and get a shot, and have to go home and go to bed. Thus, the whole day would be wasted. And we all know how much those needles hurt. Now I am sure you don't want that to happen.

So I think it would be better not to throw the pillow at your sister, as they are very expensive and years ago there weren't as many pillows around as there are today. And you couldn't pull the tag off of the pillow, or you would get arrested. And if you got arrested you would have to go away somewhere to an awful place. It would be a terrible place where nobody would feed you and everybody would be mean to you, and make you cry.

Today you can find a pillow in every department store. But they are nothing like the pillows that were around when I was a kid. Today they are made up of all kinds of fiber. Not like the feather pillows. And if you pull the tag off of a pillow or a mattrice, the police never come to see, and if they do come to see the tag is off, just say I don't know officer.

So stop fighting with the pillows and hitting one another, less a worse thing happen.

This is a story told to me in my early childhood, that made a lasting impression.
