Why can I not be as the rest?
Content with the way things are
Struggling with greenbacks and relationships
Complicating every facet of the diamond of life
I just would be pleased with a hut, food and meager clothes
And aloneness to comfort my tortured mind
With it's deluding for answers to questions which ran
Through me with unequalled force and speed
A death or rebirth would be heaven enough for me
Alone I write, think and sit about the deepest of oceans
Surrounded by the stagnant ponds and streams of humanity
