Why Not Surprise Someone This Valentine's Day?

Give a Box in a Box in a Box for Valentine's Day

If you have ever gotten this - you are sure to remember it. Someone gives you a beautifully wrapped present. You tear open the gift wrapping. It reveals - another gift wrapped box!

You are curious and a little confused, so you probably giggle and then you open that box. This reveals - another gift wrapped box! Now you really start to laugh.

If this is done right, there are even more boxes to open. If it is done really, really right - it starts with a really big box and ends with a small, jewelry sized box for you to open.

This is a great idea for Valentine's Day. All you need to do is get some nice boxes and some pretty gift wrapping. Then you need some time to do the gift wrapping to put this all together to make it all look terrific. Think of how much your sweetie will enjoy this!

Many stores will think this idea of yours is as much fun as you do, so simply ask them for the extra boxes when you make a purchase. If you have already made a purchase, call the store and ask them if you can come in and get some extra boxes. Explain to them what you want to do. They will probably think it sounds like a very sweet idea, and they will be glad to help a customer.

To make this look pretty, it is very important to not only have nice gift wrapping, but to have different gift wrapping for each package. You can have complimentary gift wrapping, that is gift wrapping that matches each package. But ideally, each package should be wrapped differently. Some chain stores sell smaller packages of gift wrapping, so you do not have to buy a whole roll of paper. If you have the gift wrapping paper different styles, the bows can probably be similar and it will not make that much of a difference. Buy a nice style of ribbon, ideally two different types of ribbon so you can alternate ribbons from one package to another.

Another cute idea is to put a love note on each package. Your sweetie can open each love note as they open each package. Or you can put little hints about what could possibly be in the final package, if you want to tease them a bit with this gift wrapped package.

Some people might think that the present inside needs to be fancy or very expensive. All it really needs to be is something thoughtful, something that shows that you thought of them. The very idea that you took the time to do this whole box in a box in a box thing shows that you spent a lot of time on their gift, that you were very thoughtful of them. They will be sure to appreciate your sweet gesture!
