In Paris there are many bars and coffee shops and one thing I really enjoyed about Paris was their pastries and and fancy cakes. The river running through Paris is very good and you can even get on a boat trip and see the sites from there. The first thing for me though drew me to Paris was the Art I had seen on the Internet and the music I have heard from the country. I'm not to found on some of there main meals however there language is very posh.
Paris is renowned for entertainment like any other city and the Euro Paris's currency is doing very well at the moment. This is good for the French however until the money levels out it's not the best exchange rate if you are using dollars or pounds. Reliantly the bonus is that if you pre budget your journey and book on-line some of what you desire to do there then you should be fine. European students can get a special discount in some of the museums and galleries you should check on-line before you travel. A good source of information for this kind of thing is your travel agent. If you have a good travel agent then they will do special requests for you, recumbently you should know the questions before you attend a travel booking.
Once you get to the top of the Eiffel Tower and look down on the lovely city I'm sure you won't regret it, it is a fine picture, again if you book your tickets on-line you will save a waiting down on the ground to get onto this popular structure. The best way to get to the Tower is by train, so the first port of call I would recommend is the train ticket machine, to buy a bunch of tickets. Again even if you travel by car or taxi I would recommend that you get up early if your of to the tower.
The art in Paris is very important you only have to look at the monuments and big arches to understand how important Modernity has been in this city for the past few centuries. Some damage was done during the War but many of the big churches or Cathedrals are still standing. Looking more closely at these large structures you will find excellent sculptures, gargoyles and human faces intricately shaped. The monuments are huge and made me think how on earth any surveyor could come up with such a structural miracle.
The paintings are everywhere, in shop windows, in the magazines, in the museums, there's lots of museums. If you like museums you'll love Paris it's great for museums. Modernity has been thought to be an important part of modernity in the eye of Art and modernism is a name for the paintings and sculptures that have transgressed throughout the past few hundred years. Paris has always been at the forefront of this, hence the term avant-garde which is french for being at the front. The forefront of a battle of soldiers some say is it's main origin however Paris now does have a lot of soldiers but they all look so young. They carry such big guns and they look so young. Don't let this put you of Paris though it is a very peaceful and tranquil city. What I'm saying is it is a good place where you can relax and the good thing is, most of the locals speak English better than my french.
The nightlife in Paris is very friendly you will find a lot of the students out late and many of them are from the U.S.A and Canada as indeed England and other Western parts of the world. You might want to check out the Louvre gallery but I would recommend more the Pompeidou, especially if you love modern art, and chatting to painters, because one they have a college inside and two that means there are many artists who's work is in Progress and if that's not enough upstairs is a fancy restaurant.
Summarizing I would say many stars have been to Paris and many spiritual things are associated within and around this lovely city and art is just one part of this. My favorite type of art, is by far oil paintings but many of the paintings nowadays use acrylics and other forms of modern painting. If you like painting or your not so creative and just love looking for good paintings then Paris should be one place you jot down in your to-do-list booklet.

Post a CommentI;m here trying to make the rounds - I love Paris. It's every bit as romantic as you hear.
Good article. Paris is one of my favorite places in the world.
I would trade Las Vegas lights for a view of the Eiffel Tower anyday...
Paris is, indeed, magnificent - But for a less frenzied, more 'organic' French experience, I would suggest a visit to Provence where the ancient Greek, Roman and modern French combine to create an ambiance and culture truly unique in the world. Nice is a good place to start - rent a car and begin driving west along the coast. Incredible!
Gosh, I would love to visit. Thanks for this!
I've never been. I got close - - Germany but didn't get to Paris.
Sounds so lovely, thanks!
