Why Do People Care About This?

As most of you know, Britney Spears recently shaved her head. Why? Who knows. I don't care if she shaves her head, if that's what she wants to do. But why exactly is this news? I'm sure thousands of people shave their heads everyday. No one cares about them. Why should we care about Britney? Maybe it's because she's a celebrity. Well, obviously it's because of that. But what I don't get is why people care so much about what celebrities do. So she shaved her head. So maybe she's on drugs. So are millions of other people, most of whom no one care about. This is a crazy world.

And what makes it even crazier is that the place where she shaved her head at might sell her hair for charity. That's awesome that it is for charity, but seriously, whoever pays money for hair is insane. Would you pay for an everyday Joe's hair? No, probably not. Unless it was wicked nice hair, then exceptions can be made. But anyway, what makes Britney Spears so different? It's impossible for me to care less about her being a musician. And I use the word musician loosely, since musicians usually write their own songs, and sometimes they are actually good. On another note, why is she even a celebrity now? What has she done recently to be a celebrity? She married a moron and had kids with him. Again, lots of people do that. So if my math is correct, there should be many more celebrities in the world if it works like that.

So what I'm going to do is write some crappy songs, become popular for a few years, have some kids with a unemployed loser and then shave my head. Would anyone care? I highly doubt it. I think it's sad that people care, and that this is actually news. Must be a slow day huh? Lets forget about the wars going on, about the poverty, the starving children, all of that stuff, and lets focus on a washed up singer shaving her head. Yeah, that'll do it.

Some things just get on my nerves. This was one of them. I don't care if she shaves her head or dances around in a clown suit singing. "Celebrities" are just regular people, and no one really cares what regular people do. So as of now, I'm going to stop caring about what people do. I'm glad that people do what they want. Just as long as something this stupid doesn't make the front page.
