Why Do Psychics Sometimes See Inaccurate Information?

Psychics Sometimes Give Innacurate Information

Psychic
World renowned psychic Sylvia Browne predicted that a kidnapped child named Shawn Hornbeck was dead. On February 26, 2003, Sylvia Browne appeared on the Montel Williams show and two of the guests were Pam and Craig Akers. These were the parents of recently found Shawn Hornbeck. Sylvia told the parents that their son Shawn was no longer alive and that his body could be found near the boulders. She also stated that the kidnapper was a dark skinned man.

Shawn Hornbeck was found alive and he was not discovered in a home with a dark skinned man. He was instead discovered in a 43 year olds apartment. This person was a white male pizza manager named Michael Devlin. How did Sylvia miss the mark on this prediction and why did she have to tell the parents of this child that he was dead? What was Sylvia really seeing?

Sylvia is not the only psychic that has predicted and given inaccurate information. The best psychics in the world are often wrong. Psychics like: James Van Praagh, John Edward, Char Margolis and others have been criticized by Spepdik.com. Legendary psychics and mediums such as: Nostradomus, Edgar Cayce, Mother Shipton and others have not always been correct with their prophesies and predictions about the future. Why do psychics and prophets sometimes make mistakes and can these mistakes ever be avoided?

The reason why psychic readings are not always accurate is because our nerves and human reasoning get in the way. The best way to give a psychic reading is when you are relaxed and your mind is clear from all distraction. When a psychic is very clear headed, they will usually give a more accurate psychic reading. Most psychic readings are usually given cold and that's why they often get messed up. The modern day psychic reading usually goes a little something like this: the client calls the psychic on the psychic hotline and asks the phone psychic to tell them what they see without giving them any information at all except for a name and date of birth. This is extremely difficult to do because the psychic is usually very nervous because they fear messing up the psychic reading and getting hung up on. They don't want to say the wrong thing and usually they will say what comes off the top of their head. When a person is nervous, they have around a 50/50 chance of getting something correct. This is why a teacher always tells their students to not get nervous before their exam. Nervousness causes someone to forget information and it's been known to cause an overreaction.

Edgar Cayce was famous for giving psychic readings in a sleep like state. He was obviously very relaxed when he did his psychic readings and he was able to help thousands of people because of it. He did not work on the psychic hotline and most of his clients came directly to him for the reading. While in a sleep like state, he was able to pick up on accurate information and give it to his clients. Not everything that he said was 100% correct. However, he is famous for predicting many unbelievable things for his clients.

Television psychics are usually put under pressure to give answers quickly. They are in fact live on the air and their time is very limited and therefore there is a great deal of nervousness. If you watch Sylvia Browne, she is able to answer every person's questions under 30 seconds at a time on the Montel Williams show. She is obviously not in a relaxed state because she has cameras pointing at her and a live studio audience. She also has millions of viewers sitting at home watching her and she knows that when the show airs, she has to create and interest. If not, she will loose her audience.

Television psychics usually fish for information. They may say something to their studio audience like, "I am seeing the letter M and it is attached to someone that died of heart disease." The skeptics like to call this "fishing for information." The psychic may indeed be fishing for information or they may be able to see the letter M and the word heart disease through their sixth sense. Either way, the psychic is hearing something and is in hope wanting to help someone from their studio audience. If the psychic gets nervous to much, then they may blow an entire taped show. If you want to be on television, then it will cost you millions of dollars to get there and you must be able to win your audience over or else you will not have a television show any longer.

Many television psychics have good reputations even though their prophetic words don't always come to pass. The psychics that we see on television are not really good indicators of someone possessing psychic ability. This is because most psychic readings that are put on the air are inaccurate. You cannot possibly give someone a good psychic reading if you are nervous and put under pressure by the producer of any show. The pressure is enough if you are doing a psychic reading alone in your home and it's even worse if you give the psychic reading in front of many people live. Pressure and nervousness will indeed ruin anything.

Edgar Cayce had it right the first time around. He always gave psychic readings when he was relaxed and he was able to go into a sleep like state. He was also able to give accurate psychic readings to many of his clients. I personally believe that any psychic word that Edgar Cayce gave that did not prove to be accurate was because he got nervous during his psychic reading.

When a psychic is giving a psychic word, they are usually so focused on trying to get the word right that they can barely focus on the visions that are appearing through their sixth sense. When a psychic is too nervous and some psychics are always nervous, then they will appear to be a fraud or someone that is not psychic. They are often bashed and said to be liars and out to take people for their money and prey upon their weaknesses. This of course makes the professional psychic feel a sense of pain because they are not out to mislead people. In every industry, you have your professionals and those that claim to be the real thing. You have bad plumbers, mechanics, doctors, lawyers, sales associates and psychics. Every industry has their frauds and those that should not be calling themselves by that title. For some odd reason, psychics are targeted the most.

Not every prophet explains themselves fully. Jesus Christ himself said to his apostles and followers that they would be able to do greater things than he did when He passes away. It's interesting that some of Jesus' followers are able to do miraculous things and others cannot do much of anything miraculous. Jesus did not write a book that allowed his apostles or his followers to learn how to raise people from the dead, heal the sick and produce miracles. He did however tell them that if they had faith the size of a mustard seed, that anything was possible. However, not all of Jesus' disciples can do a miracle even with a lot of faith and the belief that Jesus Christ is their Lord and savior. There is no explanation that anyone can give as to why some of Jesus' disciples can do miracles and many of them cannot. Is it all about faith or is something more here to the story. I wish that I could tell you that all you had to do was find one of Jesus' followers and you would be healed of anything. I know that this is not always the case and I am not sure why.

Prophets and psychics have long been known for predicting the future and for opening their heart to helping others. A lot of psychics and prophets have taken a lot of blows from skeptics because they are not always correct. In order to be correct all of the time during a psychic reading, the psychic has to make sure that they are 100% calm and relaxed and also able to focus completely on their client. If even 1% of them are nervous, the psychic reading will be somewhat inaccurate.

The ancient prophets use to meditate and pray daily, weekly, monthly and yearly before giving a prophetic word to someone. They were often assigned to Kings and people that had to make important decisions. As you can see, the prophet had a lot of time to get the prophetic word right. In today's society, we want fast answers and fast psychic readings. We don't want to approach a psychic in April for a prophetic word for June. We want to approach them on August 1st and get the psychic reading the same exact day when we want it. Our minds are now focused on getting everything now and when we want it.

Does it mean then that we should never get a psychic reading or even trust a prophet or a psychic? My answer to you is no. You must take the good and the bad from a psychic reading. Sometimes the psychic will amaze you as they are able to tune into your situation perfectly and other times you will feel as though the psychic is trying to make something up. Please keep in mind that a reputable psychic is not trying to make things up during your psychic reading. If they are getting things completely wrong for you, then it's because they are extremely nervous and they are not focused. They may appear calm to you, but believe me, they are very nervous. The psychic is nervous because they are afraid that they may not see anything for you or they will get the psychic word incorrectly. It's important to go to a reputable psychic a few times before you actually give up on them. Psychics have good days and bad ones just like everyone else.

We cannot say that psychics are a bunch of frauds because history has proven itself to reveal that a lot of what a psychic predicts actually does happen. If it didn't, then the prophesies of Edgar Cayce, Nostradomus and many of the Old Testament prophets would not be around anymore. The next time that you try to discredit a psychic, make sure that you look at the surroundings of your psychic reading. Do you think that the location of your reading is quiet, calm and relaxing or do you think that it is too chaotic? You may have to tell your psychic that the environment is to full of distraction to allow any sort of focusing to happen. Don't be afraid of insulting your psychic because you are paying for the psychic reading and you have a right to set the stage for your psychic reading. I am often amazed at how many phone psychics have televisions blasting in the background and children screaming during a live psychic session. I usually stop the reading and I let the psychic know that I will call them back at another time when they are less distracted.

If a psychic has too much on their mind, then the psychic reading may get messed up as well. You have to watch your psychic or listen to their voice tones. If they sound nervous or distracted, then you might as well discontinue the psychic reading because you will not be able to get any accurate psychic information.

I also recommend that you get a psychic reading by a reputable psychic that may not be busy all of the time. If you are to busy, then your mind is always elsewhere and there is no way that you can get an accurate psychic reading. Sometimes a busy psychic will be able to give you an accurate psychic word if they are more focused that day because they are having a slow day or because they just came out of prayer and meditation. The best time to get a psychic reading with a professional psychic is when they have finished meditating or praying.

Instead of discrediting a psychic, you may want to try the psychic 3 or 4 times to see if they are getting more familiar with your spirit and less nervous. It's a fact that most psychics give more accurate psychic readings the second time around. Remember that the calmer your psychic is, the more accurate your psychic reading will be.
