Why Red Makes You Fall in Love

Do you want to have someone fall deeply and madly in Love with you? Then you need to go change. Slip into something slinky, red and sexy. You will be certain to turn every head in the room regardless of your size. Think about it for a minute; why are red roses given as a token of love? Why does insurance cost more when you drive a red car? And what's with store decorations for Christmas and Valentines day? They are always red!

Red is the symbolic color of love. If we see red, we have been conditioned to feel love. We associate the color with a feeling. We all do this subconsciously. It has been shown that certain colors affect our heart rates. The cool tones of blues and greens sooth us and our heart beat is calm. When we see a bright red, it speeds up our heart rate. Our blood turns red when it is exposed to oxygen. This is a statement all on its own. Blood runs to and fro and we think nothing of it until we see it gushing out of our or someone else's body. This has been programmed in us since the beginning. Perhaps red is the color of panic, i.e., "code red!" No one ever cares if its code blue or orange.

Too many brides make the mistake of having a white gown on their wedding day to symbolize their virginity. How silly, how many brides do you know were virgins when they got married?

Red is the color of passion. This is also indicative of our hearts as we draw them and color them in red. Use this to your advantage the next time you are looking to attract attention; after all animals do it all the time. Why are birds so brightly colored? They use their color to attract their mates. This can be applied to humans on the most simple instinctual level. We are after all animals.

Procreating is the simplest human instinct and we are driven and motivated to all find or attract a mate just as the animals do. Why not use the obvious prompt from nature to attract your mate? It really may be as simple as wearing red on your next night out.

Smell becomes a factor when attracting a mate as well. Just because you have the basic visual attraction covered what happens next? The scent and energy you portray are just as significant.

If you smell as good as you look you are bound for trouble(in a good way) and as long as you radiate positive energy who cannot help but be attracted to that. Men enjoy having a good time so, don't forget to add some of your favorite fragrance to your red outfit, toss your hair back as you laugh genuinely and let your eyes wander until you lock into a strait stare with the guy who has just fallen in love with you.
