For the things that I receive?
Why should I say "Thank You"
If my work success achieves?
All the things that I am given
Are results of my success.
After all I am so driven
And don't even stop to rest.
I'll tell you why I am so thankful
Why to others I am so grateful --
'Cause all that I receive
And all that I achieve
Cost someone else so dearly,
I can see that very clearly.
And even though I've worked
And used my mind as well,
The knowledge, effort and words
Are gifts from God's deep well.
So, why should I say "Thank You"
For all the ways I'm blessed?
To prove that I am grateful
And never have regrets.
