Okay, I know- lighting, make-up, retouching, they use all the tricks but still, a small part of me is gullible enough to think a product may work for my skin. Finally a sigh of relief. Thank you is in order to the makers of the Aveeno facial skincare line.
I absolutely love these products, their "positively radiant" line is exactly that, positively radiant. The daily moisturizer contains SPF 15 UVA/UVB sunscreen to protect your skin against harmful rays. It's light and when they say a pea sized amount, that is seriously all you need. You can apply a small amount smoothly over your face and not feel like you are clogged like a kitchen sink. It contains small light diffuser which at first worried me because I thought they were sparkles and I hate sparkles but, they aren't. they catch light heightening the brightness of your face so it looks as though you are well rested, even if you pulled an all nighter the previous night.
The daily moisturizer is coupled with the positively radiant daily cleansing pads and cleanse wash. I prefer the pads which won the "best facial skincare product" for under ten bucks and is one of Allure Magazine's top picks. The pad contains a rough side along with a smooth side which suds when run under water. The rough side is tough and really cleans every pore, scrubbing into the little parts and your t-zone. While the soft side refreshes your skin and leaves it feeling soft and touchable, not too mention clean and "radiant". The cleanser to me feels great but, isn't much more than a make-up remover.
I also now use the cleansing bar in the tub and the exfoliating scrub which is a bit coarse but leaves my skin feeling extremely refreshed. Of course, I top the bath off with none other than the "positively radiant" moisturizing lotion. The lotion also has light diffusers which make your skin look quenched and silky.
I use the entire line of products and I feel clean and... positively radiant. Most of the products are under ten dollars except for the facial moisturizer which tops out at about fourteen. They are worth every penny and I rarely use all the same product. this time, I wouldn't stray from the program. The results are incredible and I recommend it to all women with any skin.
