Why the Spirits Cry

Stormy Rayne

As I stand here in this meadow,
with the flowers all in bloom.
I cannot see the beauty,
all I feel is gloom.

The spirits all around me
help me see the land,
for the glory that is waiting
being held in it's right hand.

All the land was created
for the human race.
To enjoy, prosper, and use wisely
instead, greedy men stole our grace.

The laws of this great land,
were not kept by man.
Slowly killing off,
everything they can.

So now this sad story
becomes so true we cry.
For the spirits had no idea
what would become of us or why.
