Why the Spurs when so Many Championships

Doing What is Takes to Win

From Big Shot Rob to Cheap Shot Rob, Robert Horry, has 7 NBA championship rings, yes 7 rings. . From hitting big shots to take players out, defending, getting steals. setting picks he had done it all. Started with the Houston Rockets, then the LA Lakers, now the Spurs, Mr Horry has seen it all and been through it all. Hitting the game winning shots, lighting championships, the celebrations he knows more than anyone else what it takes to win a championships.
Last year against the spurs, he helped them to defeat the suns, through his hip check on Steve Nash, which cost some of the suns the next game through the suspension of some of the major players for the next game. Though in the coming years, it will just be remember that the suns got defeated by the spurs, without that play by Horry I believe the script would be different. But chalk that up to another win to the Spurs and ring number seven to Robert Horry. Now in the 2008 champaign. a much more natural in the flow play, through a "pick" cause David West of the New Orleans hornets to be laid out on the floor in pain and having to leave the game injured. Though he should be fit and well to play in the next game, and whilst the intent of Mr Robert Horry will not be known by anyone except himself one wonders the impact of that play and whether it will be significant.
However what Robert Horry did is all part of basketball and playoff basketball and sports in general, and though the methods of everyone else might be different, the idea of team sports is doing what you can to make your team successful. Proving whatever edge you can to help your team and yourself be better and winning is normally the ultimate goal especially in pro sports.
So why are people to annoyed surely in soccer(football) a hard tackle always send the good message about how the game is really gonna be played and that you wont be insulted on the field of play, same thing in with American football a very hard hit on the quarterback or running back to let them know that your defense is real and to let them have second thoughts about attacking your defense. So playoff basketball about the same thing. playing hard, sending message verbally and physically all to get any edge you can on the opposition.
The Spurs play hard all the time, but no one else seem to accept that challenge or playing HARD playoff basketball. When so while the spurs continue to make the hard fouls both Manu, and Tony Parker continue to get into the paint and create havoc. So until the other teams step up and learn to play like the Spurs everyone will have a hard time being called NBA champions except the Spurs.
