Why Swagbucks is Better Than Lockerz and Surveys

Its Swagbucks Birthday, They Are Continuing to Grow in Popularity

Matthew Smith
Forget about Lockerz and survey sites, because it's Swagbucks Birthday! On February 25th Swagbucks, the popular prize site, will be two years old. There is talk of a big birthday celebration by TSG (the swag guy). It's anyone's guess what kind of giveaways the site will have. Most people are expecting a lot of extra swag codes and sweepstakes. That should help everyone to earn their Swagbucks faster in order to get their prizes of choice.

For those of you who don't know, Swag Bucks is a site that gives away digital dollars called Swagbucks to their members for using their search engine, shopping online, or recycling used items. Those dollars can then be redeemed for prizes like my personal favorites, Amazon and Paypal gift cards. Basically they give you a little kickback for doing stuff on the internet that you already do.

Unlike sites like Lockerz, there is not a redemption problem with Swagbucks. They pay out twice a month, and you can place your order anytime. It isn't like a survey site, where you sign up get spam and never qualify for the survey. I've tried a few of these sites to try to make some money on the internet. You will not see me writing articles to promote them. My experience with them tells me that they are a waste of time.

I am a casual user of Swag bucks. I go there, use their search engine a few times a day, and find the code if I have time. The net amount of time that I spend on their site a day is 5 minutes. That results in $10 a month in Amazon gift cards that I can spend on people or myself. I don't buy a lot on the internet or have a lot of referrals. I am pretty much at the minimum of what you can earn from the site. Some people get really serious and they load up on referrals which bring in a lot more swag bucks. I see people talking about $50 gift cards that they redeem every month. That would be nice, so I am hoping to get a couple referrals myself.

If you buy stuff online, or use a search engine like Google or Yahoo, then you might as well benefit from your internet use. You won't get any spam, mail, phone calls, your searches tracked or anything else. They don't ask for a credit card or your phone number. There are no strings attached. They make their money through advertising. Check it out, here is my referral link, let me know if you choose to sign up. I can help you with a few pointers that will save you time and help to maximize your winnings. If I didn't like the site, then I wouldn't be wasting my time writing this article about it.

I am a very big sports fan. I played baseball and football throughout my life, and I have never abandoned my love for sports. I have been a close follower of most major sports. But my favorites are still...  View profile

Hi I found the easiest way is just to watch videos on swagbucks tv and let them auto play while I sleep or do something else. I don't bother much with swagstakes because the chances are very low I just stick to $5 amazon cards. If you would like to join please use this link and thank you very much for using it. http://www.swagbucks.com/refer/william202

I must say that when I first went to the Swagbucks website, I was a little confused and somewhat skeptical. It mentioned things like being a “premier rewards site” and a leading online search engine. But if they were a search engine, then how does one generate the rewards from? And why have I never heard of them? Well, it turns out that Swagbucks is indeed pretty legit.

I use swagbucks too, they're pretty awesome. I'm also the minimum as I don't have referrals. Only thing that bugged me about your post is you say they don't track your searches. Since they are using google/ask your searches are tracked. That's how they can tell if you are abusing the program.
