Why Taylor Swift Rocked the CMAs

Are you wondering why Taylor Swift rocked the CMAs, well I am going to tell you. If you watched the Country Music Awards last night, you saw where Taylor Swift rocked the CMAs, when she took the biggest award of the night, "Entertainer of the Year". This teenage girl was nominated with country legends like George Strait, Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley and Keith Urban. How crazy is that? She also won "Top Female Vocalist". How could a 19-year old girl, who does not have very strong vocals, achieve this milestone?

Taylor Swift is a tall, thin, blonde-hair, blue-eyed, wholesome young girl from Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. Taylor does not seem to be afraid to show that she loves and respects her parents. And unless she has moved out, I believe she still lives at home and bakes cookies with her mom. Taylor is not very glamorous; she is modest and seems to be a little on the clumsy side. Taylor Swift is like the girl next door and you can't help but smile when you see her. These things help make her into a great role model for our youth. Her fans just love her, girls and boys of all ages, look up to her.

Taylor Swift writes most or all of her songs, leads her own practice sessions and designs her own sets. This girl is driven and ambitious, but teens relate to her. Her songs deal with real life issues that our American youth struggle with on a daily basis. Taylor does not get up on stage and perform in skimpy outfits or dance in a seductive manner. She does not portray to our youth, that you need to look sexy, dance and act inappropriately to be popular. If anything she screams pureness and wholesomeness! Our young generation loves her and that is great! Let them have a good role model for once, instead of what is thrown in their faces day after day.

Let's face it, country music started changing with Shania Twain. By the way, where are you Shania? A lot of you are probably upset about the fact that Taylor Swift won "Entertainer of the Year". But we all love still love George, Kenny, Brad, and Keith and always will. They will continue to entertain America with their great music. What you need to understand is that Taylor Swift's devoted fans got her to this place in her life. These devoted fans are America's youth. Some of you will continue to be mad, but try to embrace the fact, that Taylor Swift can have a positive effect on today's youth. I don't know about the rest of you with children, but I consider a positive role model a good thing! This is why Taylor Swift rocked the CMAs.
