We need to show all politicians that people are paying attention. You may find you cannot vote for anyone so consider voting for a third party candidate as a form of protest. If you care about the future for your children and the legacy you want to leave them, you must vote.
Both parties have the attitude and the festering rot of entitlement and elitism. The arrogance of socialism has changed the Unions and the Democratic Party to the point they have become unrecognizable. The Republicans have forgotten how to budget and think that social issues, such as gay marriage and abortion, are more important than fiscal conservatism.
Both parties seem to care more about globalization than the welfare of the American worker and the shrinking middle class. Will our legacy be that our children will do worse than we have?
I hear such terms as "ruling class" and "common man" as if they are anointed to lead. It shows their arrogance and rot. Our ancestors ran from the class systems and castes of other countries to the opportunities America once offered.
This sense of political elitism has contaminated everything until the stink has become so bad that our young are looking to communism as if it is a good idea. Think about it! Your child is willing to throw away their freedom! Without our freedom Vietnam would not have ended, without our freedom Martin Luther King would have been arrested, without our freedoms we are doomed!
America was always about freedom including the great equalizer the ability to vote. If you are a women you should be ashamed if you do not vote, our sisters fought hard and went to jail so that we could. Some in the media and government want you to forget that. If you do not vote, you are sentencing our children to the lives our ancestors fled. Do you want that to be your legacy?
Your vote counts! Do not let anyone tell you otherwise. Just the fact you are voting might wake up those who think they can do anything they wish while we suffer and pay taxes. Consider the time you spend at the polls as your special revolution, vote for a person not a political party and place a protest vote to Washington to let them know we're watching and we don't like what's going on.
