Why Watching TMZ is so Much Fun!

I always try to watch TMZ on Fox-TV due to the great interaction with the reporters. Creator Harvey Levin stands at his white board drinking some "healthy" concoction in his shiny coffee mug with a straw making doodles on his board when something strikes his fancy.

During the show, the reporters each chronicle their story about which celebrities their crew has met as the videos roll. The banter between the reporters and Harvey is the icing on the cake for this original show. They make fun of each other and Harvey as often as possible. The most recognizable reporter has to be Max Hodges, the surfer dude type with long blonde hair. He is often the butt of many jokes but loves zaftig women and speaks his mind; often with foot in mouth.

The main theme of this show is to have a good laugh at the expense of the celebrities whom they stalk to get the latest scoops, but I think we truly watch this show to see who is going to upstage the other. The ladies are no slackers on this set either as they get their licks in as often as possible.

Harvey is a vegetarian who takes a few jabs about that from the crew; but he good naturedly gets jabs about his height (or lack thereof), his absolute love of the movie "Airplane" and about being Jewish. They even have a segment on the show called "Jew ~ Not a Jew" that asks the questions as to who in the celebrity spotlight list is or is not Jewish.

The crew consists of several women who are not beyond giving back the jabs when ones are fired at them. As for the guys; there is Mike Walters, who recently conducted an interview with Charlie Sheen before he opened his Twitter account see it here. It was a great interview where Mike asked Sheen all the tough questions about addiction and his rants. Another cast member is Charles Latibeaudiere or the guy with the dreadlocks who you can follow on Twitter as charleslat. You can also follow Dax Holt, the blonde guy with the gelled hair on Twitter as daxholt and there is Gary Trock the dark haired fellow with the glasses who is also on Twitter as garytmz.
