Why Are We Always Confused About God's Choices?

Hector
It seems that when it begins to rain we all run to the nearest shelter so that we can remain dry. The same can be said about our daily lives, whereas instead of rain we are hit by troubles in everything from financial, relationships, work and business. When these times arise that the problems continue to just stack up and dig us into a hole we run for the nearest form of shelter we can find. Sometimes not realizing that we are actually running away from our own destinies. Yes it may appear that all these problems and issues we face are not fair and we as human beings always point the finger at someone so we can feel we did nothing wrong, but the truth is the only blame we can have is our own. Why would we point the finger at our neighbor or friend or in many cases God? Why can we not just accept the fault of being human and facing problems are part of life? We are to blame for our choices and no matter how bad it gets we can come out of it.

I see so many people just taking it out on others and sitting around crying and feeling that God has abandoned them. What happens to us is because is predetermined and although we do not know why these things happen they do. We get confused at God's plan primarily because we do not know what he has in store for us. We cannot see the future to understand why you lost your job, or you are in debt beyond any type of escape and are close to being homeless. What you should ask is why can I not accept my life and try to live it as best as I can? God has given us choice! You can choose to do whatever you want to do and the beautiful part about that is we never have to blame anyone for our choices. But we do because it feels good to have someone else take blame for something we do, but it isn't fair to do that when we decided do what caused us pain to begin with.

I can never say I don't do the pointing game and I can honestly say I have questioned God on many occasions. It doesn't feel good to ask and to wonder why things happen, but we sometimes need it so we can breathe an ease of relief. It doesn't change the situation nor does it rectify it but as a man I can sit and consciously blame someone else for my fears, angst and problems. God will be and is the only person that will accept all burdens that we thrust upon him, for that very reason we were given the gift of Jesus Christ who died for us on the cross. Jesus not only died for our sins but also for everything else that we may feel, any type of fear, loss or sadness he takes for us. He is the mediator between God and us, the true middle man.

We cannot question God and expect an answer to his plan, we will never get a response due to the lack of faith we have in him. Only when you truly put all your faith in God will you come out of your hole. Only when God knows that although you do not understand why everything happens but are still willing to have faith in him and let him take control will you ever find an answer to your question. Confusion is a form of fear that can take total control of you if you allow it, but faith is that automatic pilot that when you switch it on allows God to take the wheel and get you home safely. I have always felt that to let go and let God is the best phrase on how we should live our lives. God will always get you home safely no matter how bad the weather is we just need to have faith and live simply by letting go and letting God.
