Why not? It is often misunderstood that a wedding is all the bride's work, some girlie stuff which a groom doesn't need to get involved with. Wrong! It's not completely that way. Wedding planning isn't just some girl stuff nor a bride's work alone. Remember this is one big day for both your bride and you. It's as important as your engagement.

Gone were the days when the only day the wedding groom is seen in action is during the wedding. You can make some difference to it. You, as the wedding groom, can also play a role in the wedding planning.

Here are some answers to the why.

1) Take note that it is both your wedding not just her wedding. So you as the wedding groom surely has a say in your wedding plans. Your bride-to-be will be delighted seeing you also interested of what both your wedding will look like.

2) The wedding budget. If you are paying for all the expenses of your wedding then you better take some participation. You can make some adjustments to the cost so that it will fit your budget.

3) To avoid blame. There might be some things that you want to be present in your wedding yet your bride-to-be overlooked some of it or you like the shade of blue better than green or who knows what else! How will she able to know all those if you as the wedding groom did not even share your opinions and views?

You might not understand or appreciate half the wedding stuff yet by the end of it you will learn something out of it. Being a wedding groom is more than just being the financer, isn't it a good feeling being able to participate and lend a helping hand to your bride-to-be? You are both into this together from the start, stand up to that.
