Summer! When it is hotter than August asphalt, the most important thing to me is to be comfortable. Many people think that dresses are not comfortable. I beg to differ.

There is nothing more comfortable than a dress in the summer. Shorts may stick to your legs. Capri's are too long and hot. Jeans are out of the question on those hot, humid, sticky days of summer. There is nothing like wearing a dress for comfort.

There are many different styles of dresses. I still remember the old days when we used to go with out bras. It seems obscene now but it was all the rage in the 70's and into the 80's.

You can find halter dresses that are very comfortable in many different styles. I love the look of dresses with loose fitting skirts. You can find longer ones that brush your calves or ones that come to your thighs. You want to be careful about modestly if you wear a dress that is short. If you get a dress that is a little longer you don't even have to wear underwear. It is sinfully comfortable.

Dresses with spaghetti straps or strapless are the most comfortable. You can find some with built in bras. You can also find bras that are specially made to wear with different dress tops. If you are really lucky you can go without a bra.

For the more conservative or middle-aged to elderly women, you can find dresses that can accommodate any figure or age appropriate styles in summer dresses.

If you are not sure about a sun dress or halter dress you can still find very comfortable skirts with flirty little tank tops. For evening wear you can add a little jacket and ditch the flip-flops for a high heel sandal. There are some adorable, sexy, sandals that you can find that are very moderately priced.

Sun dresses come in many different patterns, sizes, colors and styles. If you love comfort and style you can't go wrong with dresses for summer. With a little summer color or a nice tan you will never look better than you do in a sun dress.

You don't have to be a teenager or a young adult to wear a sun dress. I am beyond middle age and I still feel attractive in a sun dress. I never feel as feminine or sexy as I do in a dress especially in the summer.
