Why Women Love Jerks

The attraction mechanisms going on in a women's brain are very confusing and counterintuitive. For us men, attraction is pretty simple. We see a healthy, young, good looking woman with a great body and we are instantly attracted. This is not always true with women.

When you ask a woman what kind of man they want, they usually describe a nice guy. Loyal, responsible, hard working and courteous, and yet you always see them with jerk boyfriends. Most women have nice guys chasing them that would treat them like a princess, but those guys never get a piece of the action.

This is because women don't choose their mates based in rational thought. Emotions and instinct are much more powerful. Women are exceptionally good at sizing up men; within seconds of meeting us, they already know if we are confident, nervous, intelligent, or plain losers and they are never wrong, so don't try to fake because you'll get caught.

Women are attracted to jerks for several reasons. Jerks are usually very confident, and confidence is something that women love. They also display a dominant personality. Jerks are usually bad boys that women can't control, so they see them as a challenge. They are selfish, doesn't care about others or their opinions and that's hot.

Perhaps the rational part of a woman's brain hates some of these "attributes" but they can't do anything about it. Their body knows that a man like this will give her strong and healthy offspring, kids that will be dominant, cool and with a high social status that will be attractive to other girls and will find it easy to pass their genes as their father did.

On the other hand, nice guys are usually weak. They do anything for a woman regardless of how stupid their wishes are. And by the way, most attractive women will test you to see how far they can go, so stop them right away and tolerate no whining. Nice guys are also submissive, and too concerned about others opinions. They are a major turn off for most women because they have weak genes that will produce loser offspring, so they end up always in the inescapable "friend zone".

Now, I'm not saying that being a jerk is good. Jerks are also abusive and that's a reason why they can't keep a woman for too long. But you can take the good things jerks have and try to improve yourself in those aspects. Things like confidence, being dominant and leadership are all good and can be part of your personality without the abusing element. In other words, try to develop your personality and be a nice jerk.

Don't be abusive, but don't let your girlfriend control you either. Accept no drama scenes and always be in control of the situation. Be the one that chooses where to go, and never cling to her, when you are with a woman wonder away once in a while showing her that you are independent. Be the prize and act like it. You can even get away with being a little too cocky as long as it is fun, and she'll love it.
