For some, monogrammed shower curtains may seem a little too much, and not worth the money. However, they do offer a personal touch to a bathroom accessory that is rather impersonal.
These curtains have a design all to their own. Typically, the most common is a clean white linen shower curtain with a dark border, with the monogram directly in the center of the curtain. However, as with regular shower curtains, there are many different avenues to take in terms of overall design, and style of these unique items.
Monogrammed Shower Curtain Styles & Designs: As mentioned above, the most common design is a simple framed look with the monogram in the center. This is partially due to the fact that this design fits well into a contemporary bathroom theme.
On the opposite end of the spectrum is the nearly equally popular detailed design approach. These are curtains that come in a variety of detailed designs reflecting an intricate pattern of which anything is possible. Typically, the monogram is located in the center. Now, with this theme there are two dominant options as far as what route to take with the monogram color. Some people prefer to blend the monogram in with the background design, as such, they request the monogram be the same color as the background pattern. The other option is of course, having the monogram stand out by using a color that will not clash, but be easily viewable in conjunction with the background.
In all, These showering curtains are a personal touch to a not so personal bathroom accessory. They can be fun, and really add to a pre-existing theme.
If you are in the untapped market for these curtains, know that they are generally made of material that is stronger and typically higher quality, combined with the extra work that goes into their personalization; they run a pretty penny higher than your typical shower curtain. For some, however, it is worth the extra cost. In terms of the delivered quality and personalized comfort, is it worth it to you?
