I write to free,
the creative side of me.
I write to express,
never to impress.
I write to create,
something complete.
I write not to want,
whatever is distant.
I write to grasp,
what's beyond my clasp.
I write to indulge,
hidden needs I can't divulge.
I write just to show,
emotions I can't let go.
I write 'coz I must,
tell of what is just.
I write 'coz I can't,
deny what I want.
I write 'coz you see,
a writer I got to be.
I write to build a life...
...my own.
