Money. Who can't use a little extra pocket money in this economy? AC allows you to earn from your writing. Some writers are even able to make their living on AC alone. AC will pay you upfront for some articles and you can receive money when your article is viewed. If you are willing to put forth the effort, you can have substantial rewards.
Bylines. Not every one is here for a paycheck. Many find Associated Content a great place to keep in touch with relatives and friends near and far. Through your articles, your acquaintances will have a better understanding of who you are. It's nice to see your name in print beneath an article you have written. Hey, you are published!
Time. This is one of the best parts. You do as much or as little as you want. Want to write twenty articles a day? Go ahead! One a week? Once a month? It's completely up to you when and how much you work. You can even wear your jammies to work and no deadlines, unless you accept an assignment from AC.
Choices. The choice to write whatever you want and be published is rare. On AC, you choose any subject which interests you. From current events to recipes, from humor to opinions, the options are limitless. If you prefer, you can accept assignments from Associated Press. The topics are geared toward your interests and expertise. There are many topics to pick from, and the deadlines are a reasonable amount of time in which to finish your work.
Skills. You don't have to be a professional writer. My first article left a lot to be desired, as you can see here (see link at bottom). Practice makes perfect and this is the perfect place to practice. One of my favorite things about Associate Content is the simplicity of the process. You don't have to be a techie. If you can type, paste, and copy, you can easily upload your article to AC. There are step by step instructions at every turn. There are many tutorials and a surprisingly complete FAQs page. If you need more help, you can contact AC staff for expert advice.
Community. On AC, you are able to converse with other writers. In the community forum, you can ask questions of other contributors, compare notes, and share ideas. You can add other writers to your favorites list and hopefully, be added to theirs. You can send emails to your family and friends, alerting them when you have new content uploaded. It's a friendly, family oriented feel.
Why not jump in and join in? There's nothing to hold you back. There's nothing to lose. Earn money. See your name and article in print. Sharpen your skills. Stay current. Read other works and find answers on AC. With Associated Content, it's all good, great fun.
