Why Zach Braff Should Go Out with Jessica Simpson and Where They Should Go

Zach Braff is a hot property on the small screen - both as an actor and a screenwriter. His famous role as that of John Dorian on "Scrubs" has earned him nationwide recognition. On the personal front he has been known to date vocalist, songwriter and actress Mandy Moore. Ms. Moore is well known for her work that is targeting primarily the teen market. Although her albums sold well, the critics have been less than kind to her, and it took both a maturing of her singing as well as a maturing of her critics to find some harmony.

While Zach and Mandy were an item in 2004, toward the end of 2006 the relationship hit rock bottom and ended, thereby virtually leveling the playing field for Jessica Simpson. Ms. Simpson has divorced Nick Lachey and the actress and singer is ready to move on. She has been quoted as saying that she misses married life, and it would be no surprise if she were to get serious about Braff. After all, they have already been spotted together in Santa Monica, as well as the Hampton's "Pink Elephant."

Braff and Simpson will make a good couple because they fit the each other's dating profiles and appear ready to move on with their lives. Add to their love of music they both have in common, and it is no surprise that they are being seen together. Of course if Braff wants to get serious and take Simpson on a real date, he will need to think long and hard about how to properly wow her; after all, she is accustomed to the high roller treatment.

To this end, the only place that truly sticks out is Le Dome on the Sunset Strip. Sure, the lunch crowd is mostly comprised of agents doing a power lunch, unemployed starlets who are dying for a glimpse of the elite, and music business greats who take in the whole scene with a bit of disdain. Without being pretentious, this restaurant offers a high-end French menu with the more classic dishes. While both Zach and Jessica are undoubtedly accustomed to the haute cuisine of all the Hollywood hotspots, Le Dome refuses to be sucked into all the hype, and thus has got to be the place of choice to the next Hollywood power couple.

After a hardy dinner, the couple will then be able to meander to the Sky Bar at the Mondrian Hotel - also on Sunset. This venue is frequented by many of the who's who hot list in Hollywood, and Zach and Jessica will fit right in. They will have the chance to relax on adjoining chaises lounges by the pool, sipping gin and tonics, and enjoy the ambience. The lighted candles that decorate the trees will inspire their romance and hopefully by the end of the evening the paparazzi will not go home disappointed.

Of course, there will be more to wining and dining Ms. Simpson and Zach will have to pull out all the stops to make her take him serious. Yet with the proximity of the ocean, a well-timed sunset walk at the beach could be the very panacea the possibly reluctant couple may need! After all, the spectacular light show that is the sunset over the ocean, the cool crisp air that blows in from the water with its light salty tanginess, and the feel of sand underneath one's feet all contribute to a reflective mood - one wherein Hollywood stars may reconsider their single lives and give a chance to the man - or woman - by their side. So go ahead and take a walk - and a hint!
