I have not been a Christian my entire life. But I will remain one until one the Rapture comes or two I am called home to Heaven. And so I will discuss the so-called Pagan Religion from that viewpoint. Since I must argue or discuss five things about the Pagan religion versus Christianity. Then here is what I will discuss. But not exactly in this order. Number one the Pagan religion especially Wicca does not send out Wiccan believers to convert non-believers the way Christians go out to witness o others about Jesus Christ. His birth,death and resurrection. Secondly, a Christian Cross is right side up and a Pagan representation of the cross is upside down. Thirdly, Pagans in this op-ed piece Wiccans revel in the day called All Hallows Eve also called Halloween. Which is celebration of death and darkness for those that really celebrate what the true meaning is aside from talking little ones out to get candy and goodies dressed up in costumes. Fourthly, Pagans or Wiccans believe in spells or magic and that there is such a thing as white witchcraft (so-called good witchcraft for love spells, spells for wealth and so on. This is opposite of Black witchcraft which is bad and just used for evil purposes. For a Christian both forms are bad and wrong. Both sources of Witchcraft come from one source, the Devil or Satan. So whether a spell or magic is white or black the follower gets the power from Satan not from God. Though many Pagans will claim that they believe in Jesus and God. They do not worship God or Jesus as Christians do. Because this takes power from Satan. And Ultimately this undermines Satan's authority. Lastly, the end goal for a pagan worshiper will be the loss of their life than their Soul. Of course they may enjoy power,pleasure and all sorts of things that may be the envy of others including maybe some believers (Christians). But it will all be for a short season. When they die unless they repent and turn their life over to God. They will be doomed to Hell and to follow Satan. For me that is a prospect I cringe at especially when God and Jesus are still performing miracles and showing their power and that of the Holy Spirit even in this day and age.

Now let me go back to the five points I have personally researched from experience,knowledge and from literature. Personally, I have no experience as a Pagan or Wiccan. I don't need it and have been told to learn more about being a Christian and about Christianity then to be concerned about a book on black magic or spells or incantations. What good would it do me? Probably not any good. The thing about Wicca is that I liken it to chocolate perhaps this is a bad example. But most people like Chocolate. You first taste it and you want more. Then you must try all the different variations. Eventually too much chocolate and you will get sick. Too much Wicca and you will almost find it difficult if not impossible to turn back to your former life. You may even start believing that wrong is not really wrong. And that if you could get away with a crime you would even the worse of all crimes against mankind:murder. Did you know that black Wiccans (witches or warlocks) would not even give it a thought to commit murder. And they do. In Wicca you will find yourself operating outside man's laws so thus you will not care what is right in God's eyes. And the power from Satan is real. But I would not encourage anyone to call on Satan or Worship the Devil. You know that an electrical outlet will cause you serious bodily harm or death if you touch it. So most people don't want to end up in intensive care or the graveyard by a deadly shock. So you won't try it. But a certain percentage will. Now back to Wicca. Those that want Satans's power will get it and some will be able to handle it some won't and will be consumed and there is no telling what will come next to them, their family,loved ones or associates.

I mentioned how you can or will be changed. For Christians the worse kinds of things can happen. Demon possession which is real. You may start sacrificing animals. This is also torturing animals the worse kind of pain for people or animals. You may find yourself doing or saying unimaginable things. It's a slippery slope. Easy to slide down. Difficult if not impossible to climb back up. Only God will be able to deliver you if you don't commit suicide and end your life before coming back to God. Only God will be able to rescue you if you have time to basically wake-up to see that your world is turned to the opposite.

Now I have given you lots of information. Mostly from my life and experience as a Christian. I could go more into the Pagan and witchcraft aspect of that religion. But I will not. I will only pray that those engulfed and trapped and blinded by paganism and wicca and the light will have a chance to escape. And that those who are seeking after paganism and witchcraft will be detoured to God's truth and Jesus light of Love. I leave you with a scripture St. John 3:16 and I paraphrase "God So loved the world that he gave his only son that whosoever believes on him will be saved!."

    what a rediculouse waist of my life reading that. I read your veiws, and until you know what wicca is really about, you shouldnt comment. might I also add that wiccans and pagans are peaceful people who love nature and would never think on harming another. the fact that you think that we worship the devil (who we dont belive in) and can get away with murder is rediculouse! we dont think we can get away with murder, or anything else bad that we do infact, and that is why we avoid doing it. please read up on it.

    paganism and wicca are NOT evil. magic, if it exists, is not bad or good in and of it self, and does NOT come from the devil. if you are good at art, you can either draw nice pictures or ugly, horrific pictures. the talent it self is not evil, and even if you draw horrid pictures, it does NOT come from satan - or, more properly, "sheitan". it comes first from the mind of the person making the pictures. another point - LONG before "christianity" came along, most people were pagan, which simply means some thing like "country folk" - people who lived in rural areas. like people living on the continent of north and south america, they used herbs for healing and had their OWN gods, beliefs, religions and superstitions. they were not an evil people over all. they simply did as they believed. it was after "christianity" came along, using torture, murder, rape, etc., that people converted - and only because they were terrorized in to it. so any

    Are you a wiccan? If you are than of course what you believe and teach is a lie! And though even the military recognizes wicca (witchcraft) as a religion thats a big lie! So if you can't answer truthfully don't respond ...I'll put it this way those GI clowns in The Men that Stare at Goats are lightweights Kindergartners in halloween costumes are scarier than them me I lived in Great Britain a hot-bed for witchcraft and was and still am a Christian!!!

    Hmmm... so many things you claim are Wiccan beliefs and practices are just plain not. I would be interested in reading your criticism of Wicca when it is actually things Wiccans do that you are criticizing. But this is like saying "I'll tell you why classical music sucks" and then you go on to talk about rock-&-roll as if there is some connection. Makes no sense. And yes... too much chocolate will make you sick; but too much vegetables will make you sick, too; too much exercise, heck, too much oxegyn will make you sick. Your point on that seems to make no sense because the logical conclusion would be too much anything-- even Christianity and Jesus-- can make you sick. Too much obsession with any religion wouldn't be healthy, but that doesn't make the religion a bad thing.

    Those Bible passages are hardly related, and of course you didn't say any that actually support what I'm saying about Jesus' preaching of acceptance. And you had better be careful quoting Bible as law my friend as things can get nasty, for example you are saying you support slavery?
