Wii Charge Station: The Benefits of Owning One

Michael Grisso
Awhile ago we were looking into the ever so popular Wii charge station and all the benefits. As the Nintendo Wii becomes the ultimate gaming console on the market, they are continuously looking for ways to make it more convenient for you. One of the best Wii accessories out there is this Wii charge station that allows you and your family to have uninterrupted game time. However, this is just the beginning to several other benefits.

What you Get

For a standard Wii charge station you will receive a charging stand, two rechargeable battery packs, and two rubberized battery covers. Your initial recharging will take around 3 to 4 hours. This can be done while you are sleeping, at work, or whenever you're not playing your Wii. Best of all there isn't any wires to attach or extra components to install. All you have to do is set your Wii remotes in the stand like a wireless phone and they will start charging.

The Alternative Version

One thing to look into is the various options that are available. While the standard Wii charge station can do the trick, there are others that have better benefits. One of the most popular is the Dual charge station with a turbo cooler. It's a complete Wii charge station that not only will replenish your Wii remotes, but it will also hold your Wii gaming console.

The first time we came across it you would think the price would be much more. To make a long story short, this Wii charge station is by far one of the most beneficial. It saves space, money, and allows you to recharge your Wii remotes with ease. In fact, we heard most people thought the on/off switch controlled the cooling fan. However, your Wii charge station cooling system works on its own as long as the unit is plugged in.

The Issues

while you won't find many major problems with either Wii charge station, there are a couple irritations you may have to endure. One of the most notable with the Dual charge station is the noise the fan makes. Granted, if you're playing with the family and everyone is laughing or chatting you won't notice it. Then again, if you're doing a little exercise on your own, it can be a little annoying.

Other Accessories

One of the best parts to owning a Nintendo Wii is being able to purchase the accessories. Whether you want new Wii skins, more Wii remotes, game enhancements (guns, steering wheels, sports equipment) or anything else, it just makes playing that much better. If you need more information on the Wii charge station, we recommend checking out Wii Website.
