Wii Games Coming Soon-Wii Games New List for December 2008

15 New Games

Michael Grisso
When it comes to the Nintendo Wii it's always good to get a head start on the competition. Especially when the people you are up against are Christmas hungry shoppers just like yourself. Like every other year since its inception the Nintendo Wii and the Wii games new list for December will do nothing more than promote line cutters, pushing and shoving, or the occasional theft arrests. This will help you get a close up of the Wii games coming soon.

Family Party: 30 Great Games (Release Date: December 2nd)

The beginning of our Wii games new list for December starts with Family Party. It has everything from memory games to brain smarts along the way. Even you "Fan Athletes" who sit in front of the TV and yell at your favorite players will be able to show everyone what you are made of with this game. Whether you are taking on the 100m hurdles in Track N' Field or racing across the monkey bars on the playground, you are sure to enjoy yourself. Then again, you might need to exercise a little more. Regardless this is definitely what of the great Wii games coming soon.

Mushroom Men: The Spore Wars (Release Date: December 2nd)

By now, even if you don't have a Nintendo Wii you have probably heard about the graphics being down. This is only due to everyone being used to the sick graphics on the PS3 and Xbox 360. You have to remember though, whether it is older games or the Wii games coming soon this is a family oriented gaming console.

Mushroom Men: The Spore Wars tops the Wii games new list for December with a mind blowing story line. It revolves around a bunch of plants turning into living "people type" creatures forming alliances and armies. You can think of it like the new world in this fictional game of fungus and cacti. Using your head as a parachute, sharp blades of grass as swords, and other crazy weapons, its an entertaining game for any age.

Rygar: The Battle of Argus (Release Date: December 11th)

A blast from the past, Rygar is at it again but this time in the Battle of Argus. To be honest, all the complaints about Wii graphics are a little overblown after seeing this game. It looks fantastic and if you remember the old games from about 20 years ago, this one is sure to be much better. It will be fun to see how huge Rygar is with the new technology out there today. Even though this is part of the Wii games new list for December, I bet it will bring back memories for all you video game junkies out there.

PyroBlazer (Release Date December 12th)

Move over Jimmie Johnson, you may be a three-time Cup winner but you've never experienced racing like this before. Pyroblazer is your futuristic combat style racing game built around different planets, and new ancient-type regions. Your objective is to win the Championship by blowing up, cutting in half, or basically destroying everything in your path. While this is part of the Wii games coming soon, it will most likely be popular for quite awhile. Its ability to be played online against others around the world will be enough to keep it around the top of the Wii games new list for December.

Dubber's Adventure (Release Date December 12th)

If you want to to get one of these Wii games coming soon that has around 90 different levels to keep anyone busy, then checkout Dubber's Adventure. One thing to note is that Dubber's Adventure has received virtually no buzz around the Internet including the main Nintendo Wii site itself. I'm not sure why, but it is probably the oddest part of the Wii games new list for December that will be available. Who knows, maybe once people start playing this mystery game we'll all be talking more about it soon.

Blast Works: Build, Fuse, & Destroy (Release Date December 13th)

Now, Its understandable the initial thought here is teaching someone how to build bombs. However, the Blast Works game is more like looking at a bunch of lego built buildings and transportation pieces then dropping a firecracker in the middle of them. While this game definitely won't be recommended for the graphics, its still on the Wii games new list for December regardless. If you think arcade style you won't be disappointed.

Deadly Creatures (Release Date December 15th)

Okay, have you ever wondered what it would be like to be living as a spider or snake? Thats what you will get when purchasing Deadly Creatures for the Nintendo Wii. Watching a thirty minute National Geographic episode might be your best defense when you take on everything from Wasps to your fellow human. An interesting game to say the least and when you play it, the feel will move towards that of games like Harry Potter, except your the animal or insect.

Rock Band 2 (Release Date December 20th)

One of the most challenging Wii games coming soon, Rock Band 2 is sure to be just as good if not better then the 2007 version. The most exciting part is getting everyone together to take on others from around the world and really find out who's #1 rock band. When its all said and done, I imagine this will be the biggest hit from the Wii games new list from December. Get ready to buy more tattoos, clothes, and bring back the 80s with a passion.

The Rest of the December Release List

While specific dates are still up in the air (at least to my knowledge), there are still other Wii games coming soon. The Wii games new list for December also includes Clever Kids: Dino Land, Pool Hall Pro, Build n' Race, Cake Mania: In the Mix!, and Vertigo. At some point in December another new game is the single player Nancy Drew.

Don't Buy Them All

One thing to think about during this holiday season and the current economic times, is whether or not spending $500 give or take $100 on these games is worth it. However, if you open the door to unlimited Wii downloads it will definitely save you some coin. Whether you do it or not is your choice, but even if there is a game you wouldn't spend money on up here you could basically get it for free from a download site like Wii Website. Just something to think about while you are shopping this year. Happy Holidays~

lol, I still have one of those too Zac. In fact, I still throw in the occasional Madden 06'. Haven't purchased a game for that thing in a long time. A couple used ones for the boy, but thats it.
