The Wii game isn't so much of an adventure game like other Rayman games, but a test of skills. Rayman gets locked up by a giant bunny and is forced to complete tasks in front of a coliseum of raving "rabbids." Tasks are bizarre, but if you're familiar with Wario World, it's the same sort of Wii tasks. You'll see how far you can throw a cow, pick a bunny's nose, run a ball through a maze in the brain of a bunny, and bop bunnies on the head. The most memorable of all the tasks is the dance sequences. You shake your remote and nunchucks to the beat (it's a lot harder than it sounds, and depending on your taste in music you may do better to "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" than "La Bamba.").
As the game progresses (each level has 5 tasks to pass) you gain more costumes for Rayman to sport. Not really any special powers to help you win the game. And you'll notice the bunnies who are watching you stop booing and start cheering. They love Rayman!
As a person who never had a Nintendo or Atari and is only moderately good at video games, I got through the whole game in a couple of months (very part time). It's frustrating when you can't beat a task and have to do it over and over again.
If you have friends over, you can compete at the tasks the single player game does. There are different competitions to play that offer hours of fun and laughter. Try them all.
The Wii game adds sound and motion effects that make the game more fun than on past gaming systems. Feeling the sound thunk as you hit a bunny is so reassuring.
Save the Globoxes! At least for now. We all know they'll get taken again and we'll have to save them all over again.
